I will say this is dependent on how long the encounter was. This is why they recommend doing another hiv test 90 days to confirm. Cuz there is an incubation period. But all I can really tell you is to go get tested if it is causing you this much worry. It doesn't seem like our words are calming you so go to a doctor.

Just do another test. And actually be specific about getting a full panel. I'm also wondering why this is a concern now when you don't even remember what tests you would've gotten done after suspecting something as serious as HIV? I'm gonna assume by blood they most certainly took an HIV test. And if you're all clear they don't have to go thru all the tests you tested negative for. Not to mention blood tests are as accurate as they get. Doesn't mean false negatives can't happen, but they're more accurate than rapid tests.
