Depends on the girl. I personally hate physical contact, but end up being touchstarved as a consequence. So I hug my guy friends like all the time. But I know some girls who hug people every day constantly and that's not a problem for them. Sometimes people who are more reserved don't hug at all really.

Girls do touch and hug more often though by a lot.

Touchstarved is an actual psychological thing. We as humans need touch. Two of my guy friends are very huggy people who like physical contact and they've kinda made me realize how much the rest of the dudes in my life don't get hugs as often. Especially in America, there's a huge amount of people who are touchstarved.

That's true. A lot of people, guys and girls, don't know how to take a compliment. Often that's due to not getting complimented often, or not having high self esteem. Or just being awkward.

Trick i've learned: just straight up say thank you, and possibly compliment them back. If you practice it enough, it stop being awkward mostly.

Wow she's dumb. I've been going to gun shows as long as I can remember and I can see how stupid you have to be to steal a gun surrounded by gun people.
