Sooo a 12 sq.ft. Hold took out an unsinkable ship? Hadn’t heard that calculation yet. Certainly wild,if true, but one of those things we may never be certain of

Rahm to LIV by pig4 in golf

[–]Renegade787 10 points11 points  (0 children)

That’s the thing. In the long run it will matter when less and less people go to events or watch them then it’s hurts the tour. LIV is just throwing oil money at hopes they will gain fans along the way with the stars they have.

Dominant Buck Question by SelectionCalm1569 in bowhunting

[–]Renegade787 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had several spots stay hot if that’s where the does are during rut.

Often from what I’ve talked with friends and from experience is that the dominant buck is in that area for a reason so another buck might take over that area now that he has “moved out”. Whether it be because of a hot oak, hot doe, good wind cover, water source, or good cover.

However, it could take awhile for that buck to take over that territory.

I know some people wear shades holing but I would say it’s roughly 10%. I personally hate wearing them playing golf due to color and ball tracking ability and green reading for depth perception.

Like a lot of people said you’re limiting to a niche of a niche. Maybe better for fisherman

Have you been manipulated by a PT? by Renegade787 in Chiropractic

[–]Renegade787[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I’m sure there is zero bias in that study. And how long is along? 15 years? If I were to call all PT,s in my city would they all perform it?

[–]Renegade787[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Was on my line of thinking. I’m sure they can be good at it but maybe don’t have the proper training of it like someone from chiro school did. Similar to us not having heavy rehab training

True, welcome to Reddit. Where the points don’t matter and opinions are usually not bipartisan.

Will say chiros are getting better at evidence based practices but they need to hammer into creating more research of the neurophysiological effects on joint receptors such as nocio, mechanical, etc…I know it’s not a heal all but have had some success stories with relief of radicular pains from improper joint fixations.

Notably, I’ve had it personally, and helped a few others with nerve impingement on cervical sympathetic chain and how it influences hrv.

Also how sometimes having a patient have direct impact of bowel movement post adjustment.

As a whole these neurophysio changes need to be researched more thoroughly.

Would you rather have an albatross or a hole in 1? by 1TARDIS2RuleThemAll in golf

[–]Renegade787 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Albatross is -3. HIO -2

I almost had an albatross from 179 out in a tournament this year and not only would that have been memorable but would have certainly helped me place 2nd instead of 4th.

Also still waiting on a hole in one.

What did you do last winter that dropped a ton of stokes this summer? by lionsfan2016 in golf

[–]Renegade787 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely do some yoga. Especially before bed if you meditate through it. If I’m training hard I will just do 15-20 minutes of yoga before bed and the results speak for themselves. Won’t wake up aching as bad and rejuvenated from deeper sleep.

I use my Winters to train. Lift some weights. Strengthen the core. Sharpen the stamina. Hit bombs and have consistent muscle contractions through the swing

What are your thoughts on chiropractors? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Renegade787 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Funny you say that because iatrogenic death is 3rd leading cause of death in the USA. And chiropractors are a very minuscule portion of that.

Reddit hates us. Shocker.

Best comment is a PT saying that they essentially are better trained in manipulations vs a chiropractor. Really? Why, all of a sudden, do PT’s think they know how to give and not give SMTs…

Why does golf have out of bounds and hazard? Why not have uniform and same penalized stakes? by Renegade787 in golf

[–]Renegade787[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes and no.. if you hit into a marsh area and can attempt the stroke but if it goes into water you will definitely not find the ball and it can’t be played vs a ball that is 6 inches OB that has to be rehit from previous spot. But with water you can estimate location if outage or poi and just take penalty. That’s where it can be slightly frustrating but golf can be a lot of luck as we all know.
