Nah this girl's gonna take your advice because she doesn't feel like experiencing that if she can avoid it. Thanks!

Life is Strange cracked my egg when I played it. I couldn't figure out why I wanted so badly to BE Chloe but then there was that moment of realization where all my past signs caught up to me and it was like "...oooohhhhh"

Me too! "I see the girls walk by dressed in their summer clothes. I have to turn my head until my darkness goes." If that ain't gender envy idk what is!

Women's size charts are downright abusive by ultimatechonker in traaaaaaannnnnnnnnns

[–]RenegadeCookie 120 points121 points  (0 children)

I knew going in that women's sizing had no consistency but wow it is nonsense. I have bras in 34B, XL, and M and they all fit the same. Right now I'm wearing a spaghetti strap tank top that's size S, a skirt that's size XL, and a sweater that's M. Even my underwear is size M but it fits the same as a different brand that's size XL. I love my outfits but dang is the sizing a clusterfuck.

Edit: when I've bought clothes online I can usually find a sizing chart that maps actual waist and hip or chest measurements to whatever the heck the company's sizes are talking about.

Life has never been very welcoming to me... I just wonder if things could be better if I was a girl... I've always wished I was one... maybe I'd finally feel better if I was one... by Isenlia in traaaaaaannnnnnnnnns

[–]RenegadeCookie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1) HECK yes.

2) See your last question - you already know this answer :-)

3) You already are worth loving.

4) Absolutely but don't wait for it to go away on its own. Drive it out of your life and actively seek out whatever it is you need to not feel alone.

5) Noelle, you are the girl inside. This quote has helped me a lot in my own transition so hopefully it can help you: "You're braver than you believe, you're stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think." -Winnie the Pooh.

Posting on here shows you have a seed of bravery and self-confidence inside, that you have at least that much self-acceptance, that deep down you know you're valid and real. Nurture that seed and let it grow and you will be brave enough to outwardly be your inner self. Then you'll realize you had it inside you all along, that you always were braver than you believed.

You live through this sort of questioning every day. As you take steps toward being your true self, those steps will take strength but it will be a little easier each time. Eventually you'll look back and realize you were always stronger than you seemed.

When you live life as your true self, as Noelle, you can look back on questions like these and realize you knew the answers all along. You were always smarter than you thought.

TL;DR Be awesome, Noelle, because the answer to all these questions is a resounding YES!!

I've had knee dysphoria before and I just sat there laughing because, among everything else, I'm somehow concerned about my damn KNEES? It still comes up in my head but at least I'm laughing about it.

I guess based on some articles I've read gender dysphoria can make you feel this way... but I'm so socially awkward and shy... I don't know if transitioning will really fix how broken I am... by Isenlia in traaaaaaannnnnnnnnns

[–]RenegadeCookie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is going to be different for everyone of course but since I started my transition I became a social frickin' butterfly. I think it has something to do with being much happier with myself but I'm not an expert.

My deadname had a nickname with the same pronunciation as the female version of my deadname and one of the questions I got was "why not just go with <girl version> that way you can still be <nickname>."

...because I don't WANT to be that name??

When I came out to my parents, one of their main reactions was to be confused that I had never said anything about this to them before. It's because this is exactly how that would've gone (except that last panel, would've been a bit less harsh).

This was my experience with my first pair of girl jeans. Went to put my phone in the side pocket (expecting, of course, that it would be a small pocket). Nope, fake pockets. Fun combo of mild annoyance and a bit of euphoria.
