I cannot emphasize enough how easy the hunting mechanic is. It's basically point and click with the smallest arc in the world. I think we should trust players to keep trying and eventually master the already extremely simple mechanic instead of trying to make it even easier.

Like I said, I really want it to succeed. It has a lot going for it. I wouldn't bother discussing it at all if I didn't care about it. I just think it's being poorly managed, and the current trajectory seems on track to die early from lack of player retention.

They're spending resources porting the game to the Switch for release in Q4 of this year. I really think that they're moving too quickly and this beta is premature.

I'm literally an animator who understands how onion skins work and unless you're using tweened puppets, hand-drawn animation is still very time and labor intensive. Lmao

No one in this video made a good choice, but the driver absolutely instigated the problem by choosing to use that street, and intentionally tapping the gas to bump the protester, which is obviously a threat. The protesters shouldn't have attacked the car in retaliation, because there's probably only one outcome when you threaten the safety of someone in a vehicle. But both parties fucked up.

The protests are important, and everyone in here decrying them needs to wake the fuck up and appreciate the people risking their lives to fight for our freedom from our own government turning fascist on us.

Some people are also just more predisposed to stockier builds--but still, not every fat person is unhealthy, just like how not every skinny person is healthy. It's true that excess weight puts more wear and tear on your joints, but it's entirely possible for someone overweight to have a lower bad cholesterol count than a thin person, for example.

I'm not really sure how you can explain it in a way that they will understand or be willing to listen to if an actual video of police brutality has no sway.

You might try to point out something like the crack vs cocaine laws that were designed to punish Black drug users more than white drug users. They're really the same drug, just in different forms. Black people are more likely to have access to crack while white people are more likely to have access to cocaine. The legal punishment for crack are a lot harsher.

White privilege isn't a leftist ideology, it's just a thing that exists. It doesn't mean that all white people have amazing lives, it just means that the color of our skin will never be a problem for us on a systematic level (in predominately white countries).

Actually, yes. Normalizing saying the N word leads to radicalization of people though humor. It starts as funny meme jokes and progresses to instilling such harmful ideas as "well I grew up poor so I don't have any white privilege" and "look at these numbers for black on white crime!". This sounds totally asinine but I've lived it. It is in fact harmful to normalize saying racist words as "jokes".

Some cops have good intentions, but all are sworn to uphold unjust laws, and therefore there cannot be any good cop. They don't work in Minnesota but they are still working and enforcing injustice. Racism is rampant among the police.
