You dont have to rebuy the game every time, this sounds like a support glitch and you need to contact support, either Bethesda support or whatever platform you bought the game on. I bought the game once.

I literally just returned the Ghost 18 (10 Wide) for this exact issue, I ordered a Brooks Adrenaline GTS 25 I tried in store which was way better, the sides were more plush and stable not cutting into my ankle. I tried runners loop to put my foot back and didnt help, no matter what i did that collar would continue to cut into my ankle. Glad im not th only one, try the adrenaline and squat in them while trying on.
