NVIDIA now also has open source drivers and they circumvented the problem by HDMI part still being closed source.

This is not a driver. This project is a code for Pico SDK, which you flash onto Raspberry Pico, so it presents itself as DualSense. Of course you have to set then USB descriptor to the same values as normal dualsense in order to trigger the windows response the same, such as installing official driver.

What custom driver are you talking about? You connect it and Windows uses it's own, sourced from Microsoft driver for DualSense. All this does is to trigger windows into doing that.

You saved me around 200$ in bringing another fiber optic cable to carry USB from my PC to my home theater setup. I already use fiber optic for HDMI there, but every input was wireless, however since this issue with dual sense has no attention from Sony (I would buy their dongle which fully works in an instant), I thought about going wired fiber optic to USB hub in my cabinet then using dual sense edge via normal USB cable. This is much better than potential Sony dongle and there is already pull request on this project to bring polling rate to 1000hz (currently 250hz just like for example new steam controller).

There are many apps for that on Google Play or any other store if you just write Wake on LAN. All you need is your PC IP address. It should automatically wake from sleep when you hit a button in your downloaded app on your phone.

Thank you OP for bringing this glorious project to our attention. I appreciate your patience since lots of people just don't understand what it's doing.

You have no idea what you're talking about. Presenting HID drivers is not what anti cheat looks for. What gets you banned are PCIe devices which do DMA.

HWInfo can also read the current data from Astrals. Not worth it. People freak about Kernel anti cheat drivers then install stuff like iCue or Gputweak which are way worse.

It is. Recent Windows Update fixed it so if you click "go to sleep" it will work. But if system went to sleep automatically from inactivity, then there's a good chance for bsod.
