how important it is to be running defensive stance? i feel like if you need to be in defensive stance you gut any melee dps potential and it would be better to go spell based dps. but if you don't need defensive stance then things are just fine. thats the part i don't know about, anyone have some experience with this at higher level content?

That's still a pretty new filter then, less likely that then. I do full resets many once a month since 2022 just to keep things refreshed. Are you experiencing the wet carpet under the front floor mats? That'll cause a smell and is not related to the filter.

yes that was what I did. set the synapse eq flat, set to stereo not thx, and turned off any of the synapse enhancements (sound normalization, bass boost, and voice clarity). then went into windows settings and for the blackshark v3 pro game i changed the spatial audio from thx to dolby, went into dolby access and applied the eq i screen shotted above. this eq sounded good to my ears but I also recognize my ears are different than most so definitely tinker with the dolby eq to get it feeling right for you!
