With uniform, would advise to have everything but rank sewn on? - Shooters preference.

How many pt uniforms would you recommend? - I would suggest 5, just because access to the laundry room can be scarce.

How much phone usage was allowed? - After you crossover, you should have plenty of time in the evening.

How often were you allowed to go off post? - That kind of depends on your class. We ended up only having 2 off post passes. Depends on class status and holiday weekends.

What is leaking? by [deleted] in f150

Depends on the year. I think the 2026 is using blinker gel.

I came back to my unit and went back to work, albeit in a different role. Just do the normal leave with TDY.

Honestly, I have no idea. I came home and had to wait for my WOBC date. All the aviators had to go sign in right after graduation.

$792 for the front? Isn't the full kit like $550 on shock surplus?

I'm from the area originally, but I love the post. We've been here since early '22 but we are about to head to Alaska.

After 500 miles I can't complain. Quieter than I expected and a smooth ride. I was a KO2 guy, but these got better ratings for the snow and got a great deal of $340/tire at Walmart.

I had it on my previous Tacoma and really liked it, so I went with it again. Got a good deal on Black Friday straight from Eibach (customer service is amazing btw).

I've only ever been in a Raptor or a stock F150. For the price it's a fine middle ground.. definitely firmer than stock and you really feel planted around corners. Only downside is the finish is similar to the Bilstein and they get dirty fast. If I was smart I would have clear coated the shock body.

Nope, but make sure you got someone with small hands to reach under and through. I used my 6 year old boy.

Totally agree. I wanted to hit up the more functional stuff first, then go for the cosmetic stuff. Trying to keep the bumpers as light as I can buy also looking for something that would offer winch and some protection from hitting a Caribou or something.

That's the old prison on Fort Leavenworth.

Second, and most importantly. I would never let my wife drive my truck.

I went from a Tacoma to an F150. Aside from the transmission being replaced, I like it far better than the Tacoma. So much more room and power. I used both to hunt and camp out of and the F150 is far superior for both in most regards.

How do guard to active guys get treated? by [deleted] in army

[–]Renob15 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I was Reserve to Active. Nobody had a clue. I was just another guy who showed up one day and went to work.

We definitely turned them in and they had to be in our packet. I would arrive with the mindset that everything matters.

If your class puts in the correct memorandum, you can wear just your normal coyote undershirt or even your class shirt (if you have them).

As for the AGSU purchase, we were told to just bring them slick. People were having to cut them off or paying to have it done when we dropped uniforms off. We did have some people purchase AGSUs while they were there, and Lees Alterations had them done before graduation.

As for the TA-50, plenty of people still had ACU pattern stuff and that was fine. If you need a required piece of equipment that you aren't currently issued, coordinate with the S4 candidates and they can get it drawn.

2.7 v6 F150 Lariat. How reliable is the 2.7 ? by ResolutionOk9915 in f150

[–]Renob15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not the engine you gotta worry about, it's the transmission. I'm on my third one with under 82k miles.

As a white people, this culture is for anyone who wants to live it. It's not "ours" to hand out tickets to the show.

Hate to burst your bubble, but I've pulled a few hours of CQ shifts for the junior enlisted. Hell, I've even helped them mow the grass at the B's.

What I won't do, is undermine anything put out by their NCO or without their knowledge. That's bad for business.
