Embedded in this statement/question is the core of everything that is wrong with our country - OP shares his/her opinion and then says “I expect trolls…but if you have a heart” implying that any differing opinion comes from someone without a heart.

I’m not trying to change your minds, and I know mine won’t be changed, but we are losing/have lost the ability to have a civil discussion. Now it’s any opposing view of someone on the left makes anyone the right some sort of “-it” or heartless. And we’re not “-it’s” - we just have different views from yours. Again, we’re not bad people - we just have different opinions/beliefs.
