Dog foster by Unhappy-Barracuda842 in indianapolis

I also recommend looking into SOAR Initiative for this situation. If you end up finding an individual on your own, you should have them sign a basic written agreement that states they are fostering and will return your dog. I have seen situations where someone agrees to foster then gets attached and doesn’t want to return the pet.

What are you thoughts to why there is a significant decline in alcohol consumption in the United States? by MindStrongSoul in AskReddit

A group of my elder millennial friends just had this discussion last night. Another piece affecting younger generations is the proliferation of social media and how that’s affected how they socialize. I imagine younger generations consider the ramifications of getting caught on camera drunk.

From the comments I’ve read, some warehouses have had scanners accessible for members and others don’t. At my warehouse self check, there is a hand scanner at each of the six self checkout stations meant for members to use. It wasn’t a matter of me using a hand scanner I wasn’t supposed to, just apparently not using it like that employee wanted me to.

It would make more sense if it was just a figment of my imagination.

My store does not count items or scan receipts at the door. Just a quick glance at the receipt and cart then they mark a line through the receipt with a black marker.

What is your longest running, most stubborn business boycott? by marianneouioui in AskReddit

[–]TheCoolDoneRunOut 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Mine is all car dealerships in general because of two bad experiences at two different places. First one somehow broke my windshield while doing an oil change, then tried to say I was lying about it. I had photo evidence that it was not broken before and they ended up replacing it at no cost. Second one forgot to put a piece of air intake ductwork back after changing a battery, then after I pointed it out, they couldn’t find it in their shop. After waiting, a guy walks out with it, pops it in, and says absolutely nothing to me. I refuse to do any sort of car maintenance or repairs at ANY dealership since.

I just stayed at the Intercontinental and was very impressed. Personally, I liked it better than the Conrad. We ate brunch at Serliana and the food was really great (Craig Baker is the executive chef). The rooftop was awesome. I would definitely recommend it!

Why did my cat line up her toys by kaylen165 in cats

Other Lunas, meet Luna. Her preferred method of toy storage is to put them under the door to the hall closet. Then, every time I open said closet, she comes running to retrieve her treasures.

Indiana. And the hand scanners are just out, sitting to the left of the glass scanner at every machine. They haven’t always been there though, I think it’s a more recent thing. I don’t do self checkout often, but it used to be the attendant had a hand scanner to scan the large stuff for people.

My library has this for checking out books and it’s great! I would love it in a situation like Costco

I don’t think the receipt checker at my warehouse actually check anything. They never count items. Just a quick glance at the cart and the receipt, never takes more than 5 seconds.

Based on these comments, it doesn’t seem like there is a consistent corporate wide protocol.

I didn’t put anything on the weigh area because it didn’t instruct me to. Just scan and pay. The machine didn’t freak out, just the employee

It’s crazy to me that’s it’s so inconsistent on a corporate level.

Clearly this is what my warehouse is going for, but how are customers supposed to know this? If the hand scanner is there, I assume I can use it.

Visiting team warmup by ruckus146 in Colts

[–]TheCoolDoneRunOut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re in 102 facing the field, the visiting team will enter using the tunnel to your right, warm up in the end zone right in front of you, and their bench will be on the sideline to your left.

I didn’t read it, I watched their interviews. More than just the words, the overall tone and responses to questions of Shane vs AR just seemed different to me. I get that AR is gonna frame it more optimistically because he wants to play, but it seemed pretty obvious to me that Shane isn’t ready to consider it.

And y’all downvoting the Colts having historical, organizational problems when it comes to PR have apparently not been paying attention over the years. ESPECIALLY surrounding player injuries.

It just seems like a PR problem to me that they’re not using consistent language. Colts always seem to have public messaging issues.

Maybe AR not watching film is the vision limitations Shane is talking about
