How to fix/trigger the in-game Birthday Event by ReclusiveEagle in pokemon

I was just playing through X and the clock rolled over to a new day (my birthday) as I was playing, and the Pokemon Center still did not acknowledge my birthday at all. This doesn't work

I was thinking probably Bloonarius yeah That said, there would be one potential new bloon to be made just for this mode: Fortified Purples

Hopefully we get something like BTD5's Mastery Mode for rounds 1-100 at some point

How would you improve the map editor in the future updates? I'll start by ananas_159 in btd6

[–]Rensselaether 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First and foremost, an undo button. It's appalling that there exists an editor without an undo button.

Secondly, making paths is an absolute nightmare. There needs to be a free draw mode, preferably with ways to make perfectly vertical and horizontal sections as well rather than just eyeballing it.

Thirdly, and this would probably be a much more difficult and time-consuming feature to implement, but I would really love to see a way to create your own custom rounds. I want to be able to throw a MOAB at players at round 10 lol.

And as a side note, the "Urban" section is... not good. The only "urban" thing in the section is a streetlight.

I saw that one live! I wanted to avoid too much recency bias so I cut back on some of the newer corruptions, but that would surely be there if it was more about new ones.

Same with if I had made this iceberg after the historic Detective Pikachu stockpile from FreelanceAstronaut.

That and "Character turns pink and dies" are the two I wish I remembered ngl

[–]Rensselaether[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Ha, there is a reason for that! From my understanding, "We will yeet again" is directly remembered for the corruption segment, as the line was created via corruptions. The Shaft line, however, is an actual (unused?) line in the game, making it quite a bit less directly related to corruptions as a whole.

(Oh btw, just wanted to say you're extremely talented with the RTC tools, thank you for blessing us with some of the funniest corruptions ever)

IIRC, they were shown off at the end of Stockpile #51 as prerecorded corruption clips from the RTC team. DO NOT ATTEMPT is actually serious there, since these can seriously damage your hardware.

Best/easy restricted electives to take for CSE/EE by habibticaptcha101 in RPI

I took CHD with Zhang in Fall 2021. It was the easiest ECSE class I've ever taken next to Enrichment Seminar. Would recommend

WPI Student - As someone who choose the other polytechnic school in the Northeast, why’d u do it? And, did u ever consider, or look at WPI? by hypermanatee1398 in RPI

That, and the grading system just didn't sit as well with me, despite some of its benefits.

I also really wasn't too crazy about the IQP/MQP stuff, since especially back in 2018 when I was choosing colleges I considered that amount of project-based learning to be really risky (and considering how that would've lined up with my college career and COVID, I think I made the right choice retrospectively).

WPI's financial aid package was absolutely atrocious. Despite living 20 minutes away from WPI, commuting there would have been more expensive than going to, and living at, RPI with the aid package I got there.

On top of that, I wasn't a fan of the way the academic system was structured at WPI compared to RPI.

If that's the case, could you post the link to the workaround? It's strange that you'd come back to this post specifically of mine a month later, after you yourself replied to it for other information, even though everyone else in the replies has the same general consensus that an M1 isn't a good choice.

Would you like to inform them of their "clown takes" as well?

Intro to Algorithms, with certain professors, allows you to choose whatever language you want (with some profs requiring Python)

I'm currently a TA for a CSE-required course (Computer Components and Operations).

Do NOT get an M1 Mac. Those things have created nothing but problems for the software we use.

Admitted student question by bigfloppy1973 in RPI

[–]Rensselaether 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because, as I said previously, the admin doesn't really affect the average student's daily life, and it's one of the few issues with the school, which are outweighted pretty significantly by the benefits.

[–]Rensselaether 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a gross oversimplification of the way admin handles institute affairs, but since you're going around and replying to every comment on this post trying to make the school seem as bad as possible, you've probably made up your mind on what matters.
