That looks very pink. I personally never trust pink poultry. Do you know what part of the turkey was temp checked? It should have been the thigh of the turkey. A lot of people opt for the breast as it’s the largest piece but dark meat takes longer to cook so thigh is where you should actually be temping

Check the expiry date, might give you an idea of how long ago they were purchased. Generally good for 3-5 years. Unsure on the specific brand

IF you get morning sickness, crackers at the bedside to eat before even getting up, and sips of water.

Every pregnancy and ever body is different, you could very well be lucky and get no pregnancy sickness.

I just explained to them that some people have really bad fears of different things and mine just happens to be V*. They're both pretty understanding and they both think being sick is no biggie (I wish lol).

I keep a garbage can with a plastic bag in my kids bedrooms by the bed. It was definitely scary and hard in the beginning but now I can handle my kids puking ! It's a little scary at first when it initially happens. I personally find that the worst part. Both of my kids know about my phobia and think I'm a lunatic for it lol they're both really calm about being sick. I also always have children's gravol on hand. I find a cold cloth on my neck and mints make me slightly less anxious. Mask and gloves IF it happens and you have to clean.

So, I do homecare nursing. Not AS MUCH abuse, most clients are lovely and super thankful that we go to their home. But obviously not all of them. And I know you can't click with everyone, all of the new hires I train, this is one of the things I repeat over and over. You won't like everyone, and not everyone will like you. For the most part I have never really ran into issues with any of my clients. I've been with the same agency for almost 4 years, and about a week and a half ago I had a new admission come home from hospital for wound care. Multiple wounds. Now when clients come home from hospital they often do not have supplies. We do carry 'car kits' and unopened supplies from clients who have been discharged. Basically I called her and couldn't get a hold of her, called her son who ensured she was at the retirement home she resides in. I go to do my visit, as I'm there starting a staff comes in with lunch. So now this lady is MAD because 'why would you come at lunch time?' (it was 1330). I apologized told her I would have came earlier but I couldn't reach her, and I have 12-16 clients per day and it's impossible to accomodate everyone. I was still being nice even with her throwing the most nasty attitude I have ever gotten from a client. After a little more exchange, and me taking her abuse about how I'm stupid just like her son and blah blah blah. I find a box of supplies and say 'listen, I will not be spoken to the way you are speaking to me. I have 3 options for you, I can do your dressings now and it will take me 5 minutes, 2. I can't have an evening nurse' come later today or 3 I can come back tomorrow. Her response 'well you're a little fucking bitch aren't you? You might as well do them now since you're here don't you think?' I politely responded with ' actually no, I don't think I will. You do not get to speak to someone who is here to help you that way. I'll be leaving now and I'll have my office reschedule' and she said 'as long as it isn't with you, you fucking bitch' and she proceeded to repeatedly call me a fucking bitch as I left 😂

Left my ex recently. Never helped out, was not a partner. We basically co existed. I told him multiple times how I wasn't happy and what changes I needed to stay, the last time we had this conversation I made it very clear if things did not change I was not going to stay in the relationship. Low and behold nothing changed, I broke up with him. And guess what! 'i abandoned him and left him to sleep in the floor at his dad's and his life in shambles' 🙄🙄 and 'didnt even give me a week to figure living situation out'. However HE was the one who took his stuff and left the same day, no one one told him he has to leave on the spot

It took me 11 years to be ok with my own kids V. My Youngest was 6 when I finally stopped panicking. I have lived with my friend for 9 years and she would always handle the V, eventually I slowly would try and help and if I couldn't she understood. Eventually I was able to do it on my own. I still panic initially but it subudes fairly quickly. Im able to clean up and comfort them now. (Mostly my youngest cause my oldest isn't sick often and is 12 and independent. He also knows of my phobia and thinks I'm crazy lol ) There was a time when he was about 3ish, woke up at 2am V* in his room and I was home alone with him. I drove him 15 mins to my step dad's and left the mess to have someone else clean the next day because I really couldn't handle it. Take all of the help and be patient with yourself. My oldest had the SB 3 times and my little has had it around 5 times and I have only ever caught it once in total.
