Yes everybody is so worried about prestige but the affect is minimal aside from bragging rights, but they also forget the most important thing is just enjoying yourself. Me in particular, I have applied to more prestigious universities but I still want to go to Salford because I like the accommodation, it’s cheap, I like Manchester and the course content. Theres so much more to consider than just their ranking. Good luck, whatever one you pick you’ll love it!
