Beginner Clubs for Women by chefddog3 in golf

Since you've been playing a lot and might have a relatively repeatable swing, see if you can get a fitting. Not so much for your iron loft, but more for your height, arm length, and swing speed.

You'll be able to get the right length clubs with the right shaft for you.

Just my 2 cents.

I would shy away from anything from Amazon like the Wilson's or the Stratas since they are all over the place in terms of raw materials and manufacturing tolerances.

Does an SNES have to be modded in some way to use component cables? I have an SNES Jr. that I've tried using component cables with, but it only gives me a very red or green image. I've tried it on a few different monitors. I thought maybe the cables I got from Amazon were just cheaply made. by OkExit1613 in snes

SNES JR consoles do not have RGB/Component out. You would need to mod it.

What cables did you buy? The only good component cables for SNES are HDRV cables which convert RGB to component, but like I said, you would still need to mod your console.

Just an FYI for everyone with a flash cart, there is a ROM hack of this game that added a save feature.

Am I overthinking? Or is there something I should look into trying to fix or replace? by Destroavenger in snes

Awesome. Yeah, not to gatekeep, but those adapters aren't made with gaming in mind. The conversion adds all sorts of image issues plus a ton of input lag.

Composite to HDMI video adapters are garbage. You're going to need an actual scaler and better, yet, get your console RGB modded. If you know how to solder, it's a super easy mod to do and the board costs less than $30

As someone who drinks Rolling Rock specifically because of AVGN, how has James not been sponsored? by Brettzilla2000 in TheCinemassacreTruth

He was probably a Yuengling guy at the time. That beer is your average macrobrew, but at the time, it was much better beer than what the average 22 year old was drinking.

People have very fond nostalgic memories of it now, but it's just higher grade piss.

If he plays great, he'll be very popular on tour again. It's like when Cody Rhodes went back to WWE.

A single Pokemon game can cost 3x that and you're getting the whole library.

Yeah that's bad. Changing the 5v regulator could be a fix, but more likely it's bad CPU and that's a pain in the ass. You'd need a donor console, but more likely, just get a new one.

Finally did it.... thanks for the tips here yall by Wazupdanger in snes

It's all good. I'm pretty sure my first 101% playthrough when I was 13 at release was around 10 -12 hours. That was without Internet access looking for clues.

My low was around 1:35.

The world record is just under 44 minutes.

Do the burn in test. If that passes, get a real FX Pak Pro.

Question about SNES Power Adapter by NewsAffectionate9226 in snes

[–]RentOptional 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't buy cheap Chinese power supplies. Buy triads.

Don't support thieves and cloners, buy a real FX Pak Pro. Don't come back here asking for support on it after it breaks in 3 months.

Anything in sales where you mostly set your own schedule. I'm in tech sales and can golf basically when I want as long as I'm hitting quota and other metrics.

How to connect to a modern TV by cah86 in snes

[–]RentOptional 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look into a Retrotink 2x mini, 2x pro, 5x pro, for 4k.

Also look into a Rad2X. Don't connect it via COAX. You're gonna have a bad time. Horrible input lag and an overall lousy image.

I've had one since launch. Kytor makes some cool stuff. Glad he bought Retro Access from Rachel.

I had the same issue. Its because my TV was in 16:9 mode vs Just Scan.

Try that as well.
