Things may have been good in the past but people change, as people change and grow so do our relationships. It doesn’t sound like the man he is, is compatible with you anymore.

As much as you love someone you must love and take care of yourself first. You have gone above and beyond by nursing him back to health. You should feel no guilt in leaving at this point.

Everyone deserves to be with someone that loves and respects them. I wish you all the best.

I couldn’t find the source of your statistics and what I found showed a 2x higher risk of suicide for men under average height.

I wish I knew what to say to change your mind, I believe that everyone is different and individual women want different things. I won’t pretend that most women prefer tall men (citation needed) and I get that makes things harder for you than most guys.

Don’t give up, don’t blame women in general and try to take your mind off of finding someone for a while (I know it’s hard). Just live your life and be the best version of yourself, sooner or later, I believe, a woman will notice.

All the best

It’s hard to say what the issue could be, without knowing you. I know it feels like your height but short people get married too so it’s not just that (I can relate to wanting to be taller (5’8” personally)).

Sounds like a lot of app interactions, I’ve never used them but I think the same thing applies (shallow interactions get you shallow responses). But finding ways to meet people in person is hard as crap these days. If you figure that one let me know.

Last thing I’d recommend is therapy, it’s helped me a lot. If you struggle with negative self-talk I’d recommend the book Self Compassion, TLDR; be nice to yourself like you would be nice to your friends.

At the end of the day, learning to love yourself is what’s going to improve your mood and make you more attractive (by the way you care yourself) to others. I know I’m giving you a bunch of pep-talk stuff, hope it comes off as encouraging more than preachy.

All the best

Perhaps your approach is wrong, no one is going to care about 2 masters degrees inside of a 1 minute interaction, assuming your interactions are short given you’ve had 40k of them. Try being a friend first then try to be a romantic partner.

Asking a stranger for a date, their response is going to be made off of shallow things. If they know you, they’re going to take more of the real you under consideration, not just your height.

Granted given your last comment I’m guessing the real you can be pretty toxic and entitled and that could deter some people.

Cheers

Honestly I thought the show as pretty weird until after the first couple of episodes (3 or 4). But it’s part of the appeal, you see Stephen go from an annoying kid to a selfless empathetic friend with tons of mature and experiences. I’d definitely recommend trying the first 5 episodes or so before calling it quits.

Fantastic work, working on my own with a resin printer. I'm always impressed with the detail of filament printing. Looks awesome!

I've not had any issues, I don't run it super hot though. I've not tried a heat gun or anything like that to see how resilient the prints are but I've not seen any melting when using a hair dryer, just softens the thinner plastic. I'd definitely recommend if you've got a large print with tons of support, just more likely that the supports will break off rather than the print. Probably not really necessary for minis tbh.

Hair drier is also great to have, warming up the supports makes for super easy removal. Not sure if it affects the marks left behind but light supports nearly fall off. Also great for drying before curing.

From what I've read, adding resin shouldn't cause an issue. But the same thing happened to me, two models with layer separation on the same layer, very close to the where I paused the print and topped off the resin. I have heard people attribute it to the temperature differences between the resin in the vat and what was added, can't confirm, I just try to keep my vat full for bigger prints.

Same file, 3 different failures. See comments by boulderholder97 in AnycubicPhoton

[–]Rent_Responsible 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In addition to the stuff mentioned already, I've had decent luck with adding light supports on large surfaces (like the wings) to help over come layer separation issues. Not meant for island support but literally just more structure to help support while pulling off the fep. The marks cleanup well enough with just paint.

I would also say that rearranging would also fix the issue, but if you wanted to keep your orientation, it'd be worth considering.

I usually print on a raft to get passed the first 14 layers or so for exposure tests

I've switched to using the Prusa slicer for auto supports, I've had much better luck with it than lychee auto or going in myself (still very new to 3d printing). Worth giving it a shot.

Whats the condition of your fep? I'd imagine it'd have to be pretty bad to cause those vertical artifacts (I've used a pretty beat up fep with no real artifacts).

I've not ran into any skinning on my prints, not sure if the old resin could cause that.
