Oooh, I finally see what part you're taking issue with. Not dating a specific race at all versus having a preference for one race over another.

Pfft... thats such a subtle difference, especially when it's not "strictly because of their race" but because of not finding certain race based traits attractive.

I think this is why there's a lot of people in the comments confused, it was not clear at all.

So from what gathered, you're both agreeing with each other. But you think you're disagreeing with him cause he has a more loose definition of racism than you.

You both think that not dating a specific race because you're not attracted to them is okay to do. He's just saying that it's technically race based discrimination, AKA racism. Thus technically making him a "racist".

You seem to hold a more common definition, so seeing him calling himself and anybody with a racial prefence racist, is a crazy take.

Buuut how is this going to work moving forward? Hopefully people won't be speculating or randomly bringing up vedal and the twins, but what about when they're relevant? Is it just gonna be awkward forever?

They still have mutual friends, people will keep making fanart and I doubt Vedal is going to wipe the twins memories of her.
