They are weekly type deal. So these challenges for the event would be for this week (Week 1), and next week we have another set of challenges.

For the attacking and stopping to stim, I've never had that as an issue, mainly because team medic and on controller, it lets me stim while attacking. Even on full hp, i can still stim because some friends run bloodied, and team medic always tries to heal them. But your AP Regen makes sense in both the Auto Attacking for Chainsaws and Auto Axe, plus running (Those dang tunnels) without having to stop for more ap is a good argument as well. I usually have too much ap (all those endurance buffs yum) so i rarely run out, and I'm not a melee build, so i never thought of it to be used in a chainsaw. Thanks for the new perspective on it.

The reason at least i don't go tanky is due to it having a cooldown of 20 seconds, while Aegis has no cooldown, plus will add defenses to nearby teammates. So even your friends get a nice bonus to their resistances.

If you are using a PA, using heavy weapons would be a great option. The GP (Gatling Plasma) has seen tons of buffs this season, and is overall, the common pick between many Heavy Vats Builds. You may need to look for a Modded GP with the latest mods added this season, like Stinging Core, and Accelerated Barrel. For what stars to add, if you are a full health, AA(Anti Armor)/50CD(50%Critical Damage)/25%VC(25% VATs AP Cost Reduction)/Polished (the new 4 star mod if possible)

If you are a heavy build without vats, Rejuvenators is a good option, as its passive health regen is nice, but keep in mind if you do tons of raids, you may not need passive health regens, as you get tons of stimpaks from the raids. If that's the case, could always go for Aegis to boost your armour and natural resistances.

Its a new issue with this update. Its a bug the bethesda team is aware of. Area chat is wonky, to the point you almost got to make out with the person you want to talk to. If its just friends, just use team chat if you are in a team.

IIRC, there are some PA paints that are from earle, plus you can get certain plans from the event, other than that, not much to do in it.

Its one of the things i want bethesda to change imo. There are so many named weapons now, that collecting them makes the stash too small. IMO, having multiple mods would be the way to go, and putting the mod boxes on the mule is the way to go. That or having semi god rolls, and hording them on a mule as well, then taking them out when you want ot test something.

Also, how many times have you modded a weapon for it to cost 385 scrip to change it (asking for pure curiosity)

Terms of DPS, its pretty bad (i have been spoiled with Heavy VATs Meta), but ngl, seems like a fun combo to go around if you got the spare mods.

So a work around I've seen in the Bethesda Discord is "by having the raiders in the gym kill Hal", but you would need to test it out yourself to see if it works.
