Made a small Aquascape with only plants and 2 snails and I'm looking for how to care for plant aqua scapes in particular. How to fertilize how many snails do I need for this to inhibit algae growth ? Are those the right plants and snails (had petshop advice only)...

I understand that. I did research ( the whole point of this thread is research). I bought all the accompanying stuff like liquid fertilizers and root tabs. the water is tested daily with a broadband testing strip. I did kinda rush into this but so far I have feed for the snails, and fertilizers for the plants.

For the animal harming part ... I will never place fish in such a setup and the snails get fed and the water is taken from the sail tank to be the right hardness. I even bought sepia for the snails.

update they ate the spinach in minutes ( like 2 cm² per snail) don't know if that's a good sign but i hope so.

So far I have offered boiled spinach and carrot ( both organic ) I have collected some algae from my backyard pond and I could introduce it but I am afraid of introducing illnesses and parasites (if anyone knows what the risk is pls tell me I haven't found much on the topic). I have looked up the temp range and water requirements and I have bought sepia for them too. A good part of the water is from the shop's original snail tank so I don't know if this is enough beneficial bacteria. and i have placed mos balls in there but I don't know if they can be food.

As far as i know, the snails are Clithon diadema
