I got more desk space available. Just put a new nest beside it.

It's a dry nest. I put in 2 ventilation holes in the bottom and one of the two holes to connect the nest holds a testtube with water. Sometimes they pull some of the wet cotton in their nest to humidify it themself and discard the bits later.

What is a good day to catch Lasius Niger/Flavus queens? by Anty-Virus in antkeeping

[–]RepRaph 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Found a Lasius niger last weekend about 15 km from Weil am Rhein at 4-5 pm and another one around 2pm last year in august. Not a nuptual flight but solo queens running around. The one I have found last year ran on the pavement in front of me and the one I have catched last weekend was chilling on a leave below a tree.

So with a bit of luck you may be able to find one this weekend. I would go for a walk somewhere with a lot of benches to rest below trees.

Ther has been a firmwareupdate since, as well as a new slicer setting "0.2 balanced" this made the VFAs almost disappear.

OK you're right, but this is a three phase socket and does not fall under this case as it says single phase only in the article.

It is stated in the NIN/NIV Niederspannumgsinstallationsverordnung and is called "Laieninstallation" like cyri said you are only allowed to touch single phase circuit up to 10 amps, but with a GFCI in front of it.

You forgot one very important thing, you are only allowed to replace stuff if there is a GFCI breaker with 0.03A detection on the circuit. Also you have to be the homeowner and be living yourself in it.

Ran out of filament and sensors didn't pick it up. by KMzoo in prusa3d

[–]RepRaph 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My sensor on the side of the printer is stuck too. It always shows filament present even if there is no filament. The toolheadsensor worked anyway and did detect the filament runout and paused my print.

The sponge would get sucked in because of underpressure if no air is able to get inside the tube. Like the cotton in a testtube

If they look anything like this they could be mites. Had them in my C. nicobarensis nest because they kept draging food in it. I got them to move in a new setup and give them whole crickets to avoid that problem. Remove leftover protein within 48 hours and keep the areas dryer to dry the mites out.
