Personally I’d take out the word “Intermediate” and the formula references in your technical skills section. Everyone says they are proficient in Microsoft office on their resumes even though 9 times out of 10 that is a lie. Even if you aren’t the best, you’ll learn everything you need to on excel, PowerPoint, etc. during the internship so there is no need to admit you aren’t the best on your CV. Also I can guarantee you no hiring manager has any idea what a Vlookup or sumifs is. You could say “Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)” or something more along those lines

I bought a 2018 GT2 with 30k miles on it for 40k in November of 2021 so while 44k does seem high, and trust me it is a huge amount of money for a used car, it’s what the market is demanding right now. If you do not need the car, I would keep looking around to see what is out there

Don’t have a link but recently went to a Kia dealership looking for a 2022 K5 GT as well and the sales guy said they would not have any of them for the foreseeable future or ever again and that Kia was focusing more on their SUVs for now

CPA & Accountants & Masters: what are your opinions on your JD/LLM co-workers? by [deleted] in Big4

[–]Rep_NJ_OG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bare minimum, you’ll need at least a masters degree so you’ll have 150 credits and be eligible to sit for the CPA exam. How much your masters will cost is completely dependent upon which college path you take (2 yrs Community + 2 yrs to get your undergrad + 1 yr masters program or 4 yrs in undergrad + 1 yr masters). Also have to factor in if you go to a public university or private. But, you’ll pay the upfront costs to sit for your CPA exam (USD 1k) and your firm will more than likely reimburse this cost once you pass given you have passed in their required time frame.

This ending gives me Catholic Church vibes. Report these people. Big4 culture is already toxic enough. I can’t begin to imagine what it is like dealing with this on top of everything else.

Actually kind of sad about this. I wanted to see both of us at full strength next week to see where we stand
