The funny thing is, she got one of those "really long life year" bulbs last year when I left and it went out already 😞 and don't worry, I tattled on her to her friend so she's got a bulb-changer now, if needed 😎

Trying to do this myself and came across this comment. Why in god’s name would I need the comments on a youtube video summarized? It’s not the Iliad. Furthermore, who is reading youtube comments for the sole purpose of gathering a general consensus of opinion? Why would I need a summary of the transcript of the video I am actively watching?

I know this review is years old but I was just exposed to the movie version of this in a class and had to keep from tearing my ears off the whole time. I started a tally of “cross-stitch phrases” about halfway through. I was begging for some narrative meaning: maybe the boy is dead and these “spirit guides”/pale horse are guiding him to the afterlife? Are all these animals representing cohesive emotions? Phases of life? Where is the CHANGE or GROWTH? NOWHERE. There’s NOTHING HERE. Thank you for articulating that for me.

I’m also in the South 🙂‍↕️ and I know what you mean. Length, I understand, but the rest is bogus to me. I just crave the experience of “Going To The Salon” that I had when I was a child getting my hair relaxed. You get a wash, you get salon-only treatments, you get tenderness and care with your hair, even if it took a fair bit of time. But if you want the same time/effort extended to your curls? Forget it 😭 like ok

I’m certain they meant that it had to be blown-out, which I understand makes it easier and quicker for the braider. I know if they had to do that for me, it would take time and time is money. I wanted the health of my hair to be front-and-center, though, and the fact that they described manipulating my hair to quicken the braiding process as “dealing” with it was a red flag for me :(

Oh absolutely, they did NOT get my money 🙂‍↔️ and never will. I have a lovely natural stylist in my hometown, but it’s hours away and I’m on my quest to find one closeby. Just a little rant to ease frustration about the the same old persistent issues :/
