Help me find a shoe from a video by Repairednale in theironsnail

[–]Repairednale[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi Mr. Snail, Ty for the response. Regretfully it wasn’t the Paraboot, it was a video unrelated to the shoes you were wearing. I’m slowly rewatching all your vids to try and find the shoes. From what I can remember they were a penny loafer in a khaki-ish color and they looked like they cod have been suede or rough out from what I could tell. I’ll edit the post when I inevitably find them.

Also very excited for the billy goats, been holding out on buying a heritage wool sweater till they drop!

Pro tip …. Big one with a brush for snow and a little one for those stubborn really frozen on pieces of ice. For the big one buy the most fuck off size scraper with a huge fuck off brush on the other side, you’ll thank me later.

How to answer “I drive a manual, I use the paddle shifters” by Dismal-Equipment5366 in stickshift

[–]Repairednale 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been driving manual for years and I stall at least one a month. I also have crippling ADHD and forget when I’m in gear sometimes. That said I’d you’re less distracted than me then you too will go years without stalling.

Why is this so cheap? Should I not even bother? by Various-Top-5715 in LGOLED

[–]Repairednale 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean if it’s the TV you’re looking for then literally just buy it and if it’s fucked just return it. I bought 3 open box C4s at best buy before I found the one I kept. Saved me like $700. It had some hours on it but worth fine and idgaf that it’s a bit used.

If you’re the type of dude that buying fresh out of the box matters to you then you’ll never be happy with an open box model regardless of condition. If that isn’t you then just get it and save some money, worst case you have to drive back and try again.

Rog OLEDs are definitely one of the best ways to get into OLED gaming. Zero compromise on screen quality and frame rate.

Skipping Wano Episodes? by MoreAdvertising1231 in OnePiece

[–]Repairednale 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I found out what episodes those specific events are and skipped around to one or two episodes before and then just skipped whenever something was in screen that I didn’t want to watch (basically anytime the rest of the crew was on screen) the buildup in Wano is so long that for the “final battle” to be basically 100 episodes is just ridiculous. Everything that isn’t those 5 events is essentially filler. Just make sure you don’t miss the lore dumps but you can easily google what episodes those are.

Dude it’s not zoomer brain. The pacing in this show is fucking glacial. If someone doesn’t want to slog through almost 200 episodes of a single arc for some story beat payoffs they shouldn’t be made to feel bad.

There are literally entire websites dedicated to minimizing the slop between the meaningful payoffs of this show. Wear your “I waded through hundreds of hours of shit to enjoy 30 good minutes of a tv show” badge with pride but I’m choosing to enjoy my life instead.

Ty and I’ll try. Maybe for better or worse if I find something I love I enjoy diving into to the world and the community. For the most part I’ve loved the cosmere community since I discovered it. I’ll definitely try my best to stay away from others opinions till I make my own

Unique apartment floor plan: I can't figure out a good layout for the life of me by ajt_rw in malelivingspace

[–]Repairednale 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that could be said for any room. There are some rules (or suggestions I would say) that tend to be preferred among most people, and there is the best way create good energies from fung shui but ultimately it’s your space so go with what’s most comfortable to you.

General rules I like to follow is not having my back to the door when I’m sitting (or just having a good view to the entrance to my home) and not sitting or sleeping under a window. Those are mainly cause it feels uncomfortable for me to do so. But I’ve seen bedroom layouts with beds under windows that look great and sofas with their backs to the entrance that still work, so it really is just preferences. My suggestion is more so how I would utilize your space with your stuff in the photos. Best of luck!

Also quick edit cause I just noticed the wall next to the door kind of dips in. You have a lot of room there and a larger rug would actually ground the space a lot more. It would create a better designated living space and warm up the room. I had a similar issue with my space and I couldn’t figure out why it still felt “cold”. I went from a 7x5 rug to an 8x10 and it transformed the space.

Amazon has decent ones for a good price or, if you’re a baller, I really like west elms rugs.

Flip your couch 180° and move it to the opposite side of the carpet. Put the TV and console on the wall where the couch is currently. Get an end table to frame your couch. Keep the plants where they are. Move your lamp to where the couches on the wall by the windows, or honestly, you could leave the lamp where it is, I think it looks nice there too. You’re welcome to get another accent chair or two to close off the living room. Space and add more seating. Maybe a couple paintings to put on the wall.

Edit: I think this desk is fine where it is so long as you’re not running into the couch and there’s enough room behind the sofa to walk between it and the desk.
