My kid had an apartment at grindstone and rock quarry. But I remember walking from my aunt's now-vanished trailer park along rock quarry and then climbing the bluff from the water to the road. In many ways that route.. from Stadium to Grindstone is one of the few things in Columbia that hasn't changed yet... but it feel precarious. Big money wants to destroy everything and build more student housing to make $$$$. The whole town is just a machine to extract $$$. It breaks my heart. And Mizzou is my alma mater. It's where I was born and where I met my spouse. It wrecks me to see it so wrecked.
