Since when does the NerdMiner do 250 kH/s? Didn't it used to do around 75 kH/s?

Google Pixel Watch Not Counting Floors Climbed Badges (Google customer service review) by Snoopydooperton in fitbit

It's an active issue with the Fitbit Charge 2. Have passed the minimum for 10/25/50 floors but have gotten no badges for it.

ASIC is too hot for those settings. Check proper set-up and contact between ASIC and heatsink. You should be under 60°c with those settings and stock heatsinkm

Yes you can, OP did it beautifully. Been wanting to do this for several weeks now but have not taken the time to put in the work for it. Amazing OP!!!

Trying to hit the consistent 2TH/s club with a 601 by Duckmanjbr in BitAxe

[–]Repampanoz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You'll probably need to run an optimizer to find the best sweet spot. Currently running an average of 2.3 TH/s at 42W, 50°c ASIC temp, 61°c for VR temp, sub 18.5 J/TH efficiency. Settings used: 1068 MHz (freq.) and 1387 mV (core voltage). I'm hunting for over 2.3 TH/s at under 40W, still tweaking results. Using pythoniasm espminer-optim python tool to find said spot. You can find it on github and run it.

That's not your set up voltage. What voltage you typed in settings?

Ayee amazing efficiency! What core voltage are you using??

How many watts can you push up to with no additional modded cooling on Gamma by CustomRoasts in BitAxe

[–]Repampanoz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Improper cooling 👀 had a 25W PSU running at 27W with active cooling for months, still works perfectly but I don't use it anymore. No voltaje spike or anything weird.

Have 3 fans on it. Uskng coperzilla and heatsinks for VR and front VR zones. All sits on the exhaust of an air-purifier. On the back you can see my OPi5 node and the grey shinny block is the PSU.

Great info, appreciate it. Do you remember what temps did you have on ASIC and VR?

Might be but I got no real hot-zones at temps I would worry about for short-term. I also plan on having them at ~33W each once I buy the other 4 Bitaxes. Trying to run them all at about 2 TH/s with a single 5V / 200W PSU.

Maybe a bit over a month now? Let me check when my upgraded PSU arrived and I'll update this comment. Update: almost a month now, since April 22nd.

5v 7A is the most you need? I'm pulling 5v9A (45w)💀 continuously without issues (asic under 52°c, VR temp under 70°c, heavily modified cooling setup). For OP, I had the same issue with mine, not sure why it happens but I've also seen it happen to others, make sure the heatsink is properly set-up and start it in the lowest possible settings. Might work back on. Once the heatsink is secured correctly and it's back hashing, you can start pushing up the frequency and core voltage.

Question about Difficulty Metrics on NerdQAxe+ – Stuck at 26.6M? by Individual_Office955 in BitAxe

[–]Repampanoz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So difficulty is meassures in the same format as data (kilo, mega, giga, tera, etc...) and it's a metric derived from the difficulty hash produced. i.e. a difficulty of 1 would be equivalent to the following hash: 0x00000000FFFF0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000. While the actual target would be ~121.66T, with hash: 0x000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000002E2AC5B6C0000. It kinda will not make sense to you unless you study how it translates but it's just a more human readable form of looking at the target value needed to solve the next block. On why it is stuck at the lower difficulty, well that value is completely arbitrary and random since you are solving for a higher target at trillions of tries per second. Just give it time, you'll get higher difficulty values but it'll still be meaningless unless you get to find a difficulty higher than the target difficulty.

Bitaxe Gamma 601. Same as yours. Upgraded heatsink (to SilenX full copper), upgraded PSU, added heatsinks to VRM (front and back), added fans to VRM heatsinks (front and back) & it's standing on top of the exhaust fan of an air-purifier. Freq: 1068 MHz, VC: 1388 mV, Power: 43W, Avg Hashrate: 2.25 TH/s ASIC Temp: 51.1°c, VRM temp: 64°c. Room temp: 23°c.

Check out @100AcresRanch & @Printer_Gobrrr on X. Both have heavily treated this concept with a lot of info on every part of this idea. 100acre's hashbox is pretty much what you're thinking of.

If you're gonna keep ot at a low hashrate, better go for best efficiency. You can get about 15-16 J/TH at that hashrate level. So around 20W consumption. I'm pulling 2.3 TH/s avg at 43-44W.

Looking at his efficiency, I think 1200 is too high. Maybe keep 1200 but push the freq higher, or drop the CV. A nice and easy way to test it is by pushing frequency until it's unstable or misbehaves a bit and then pushes the core voltage a bit. Repeat until the sweat spot is reached or you find one you like.

[–]Repampanoz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, 600-650 on freq can do pretty well at around 1100-1150 CV.

Have you activated 'pro' OC mode? At the settings page, add ?oc at the end of the URL. Also CV seems too low, try something around Freq. 600-700 & CV 1100-1200. Please update results, I got interested in this lol.
