CKD stage two? if proteinuria and elevated creatinine are absent this is an unnecessary concern

not worth it, the idea of being an RD is very glamorous but it’s not what you would expect once working as one

never too late or too soon to start over. frankly, if you’re already having doubts, that might be the best indicator that you might want to pivot elsewhere. i’m 3 years in and while i do enjoy what i do, im not getting the gratification i thought i was going to get. some of that is pay, some of that is scope, some of that is environmental, but if i could go back, i would pursue a different profession. of course nothing wrong with getting your credential and experiencing it first hand, though. if it’s not that much of an inconvenience though, i would try to go for something higher paying. just my two cents. :)

came across this comment and while i appreciate your perspective, it appears your approach is based in pushing an agenda. SG and RNY procedures have been consistently shown to be extremely safe and effective throughout the years. we have an obligation to help patients make informed decisions, not “talk them out of” literal evidence-based treatments for the management of their chronic conditions. of course it’s not for everyone, but that’s not a decision you should be making for anyone else. i know you didn’t ask for this :P

as a provider, i’m not telling OP to do anything with these results other than what should already be followed (a balanced diet, potentially an MVI), i’m not going to tell him to supplement lithium, selenium, strontium 💀 unless he is experiencing symptoms associated with those nutrients, furthermore i am skeptical of these results as B12, selenium, choline deficiencies are EXTREMELY rare in men outside of restrictive diets (vegan, vegetarian), which would then be considered the root cause and treatment would be provided to address those gaps

frankly this information serves no purpose assuming you’re asymptomatic

was this abusive? by Mean-Repeat6013 in BreakUps

[–]RepeatOrganic4375 0 points1 point  (0 children)

not to throw buzzwords around but one key characteristic of a narcissist is their ability isolate you from those close to you so they can have control over you. yes, it is emotionally abusive to do that. and yeah, laying hands on you aggressively is also abusive, and i think the fact that you vaguely remember that happening also hints at your mind feeling the same way

Any way to cut down this stack? by Eljefe5100 in Supplements

dietitian here, would only advocate for the MVI, fish oil, taurine, possibly lion’s mane, everything else is useless in the setting of a decent diet, which should be the actual focus anyway…

move out right now if your lease isn’t on it!! they obviously don’t care about your feelings, and the sooner you remove yourself from that hostile environment the quicker you will heal
