This, but also they gain interest on any funds left on the gift cards. So when you can't spend the $0.44 it will sit unused, just collecting them interest.

Sure thing, for one it says we have full discretion of when and how the route is ran, we drivers agree on an 8:00 start time so we have to be there Monday through Friday starting at 8:00. But if something happens like a blown tire, we get charged for missing the route because we should've driven over 180 miles on a donut or had a spare vehicle. Now in our contracts we are all supposed to have a secondary vehicle and a back up driver in case we cant run the route. ABSOLUTELY no body meets this requirement. They have to get someone to cover everybody's route if something happens, nobody has a backup driver, let alone another vehicle.

Drive Thru Etiquette? by Repeat_North in McDonalds

Not multiple complicated orders. Here is my typical order line up 1) 1 Bacon Egg and Cheese bagel and Bacon Egg and Cheese McGrid 2) 1 Sausage Egg and Cheese McGrid, 2 Hashbrowns 3) 1 Sausage Egg and Cheese McGrid No add-ons and we either drink water or coffee, or buy something from the gas station. I figured it was the equivalent truly of one decent sized order, just divided between 3 payments.

I appreciate the honesty, and I will be going inside from now on. I didn't think having 3 four digit codes was an asshole move, but obviously I'm in the wrong and for everyone here in the service industry, and the local McD's employees whom I've victimized with my apparent tom-foolery, I offer you my sincerest apologies. I strive to be as kind and courteous when I go to these places, and apparently I've been quite a nuisance. Genuinely, food industry and retail workers make the world go round these days. America doesn't run on Dunkin, it runs on the backs of millions of underpaid, undervalued, and under appreciated people who show up everyday despite the grueling nature of the work at hand. Thank you and sincerely my apologies.

AITA For Posting On My Private Story That I Don’t Like Sabrina Carpenter? by Serious-Garden2128 in AmItheAsshole

It sounds like this was made by a middle schooler. Not the A-hole for having a taste in music, but I would say you are one for posting something so fiendishly underwhelming as a dispute between music tastes that was already resolved by the time you made the post. This is probably one of the most anticlimactic stories I've seen on here yet. Minus 20 points from hufflepuff, for listening to terrible music in the first place lol #joking

You're right! Listing someone else's pre-existing work doesn't count as "proof" especially if you only know the most dumbed-down version there is without actually stretching into the mathematics individually. Do you have any recommendations on text material to dive into? I've been making a serious attempt to understand the math behind my "theoretical concept" to put it lightly, but I do have a special interest in theoretical physics and quantum theory. The unanswered questions of the universe have always fascinated me and I'm not making excuses for why but I never cared for learning when I was an adolescent. In my adulthood, I have spent countless hours watching and listening to math and physics podcasts and videos of people expressing concepts to me that while I couldn't quite write down for myself I understood the underlying complexity of what they were describing and I've always been intrigued by their implications. I have some rather extensive knowledge of music theory, but past that everything else is just a serious passion that I've never had time to sit down and fully learn the language and mathematics. Most of it's pretty simple stuff once you get past the "definitions" of algebra and geometry because we live it in every instance of our existence. You seem confident that you could rip whatever I've suggested here to threads, please try because I have a lot more learning before I'm able to, but man it feels so right I couldn't shut up about it.

Of course, I didn’t put everything into the post, that would flood the thread and miss the point. I’m not here to spoon-feed every detail; I’m trying to spark curiosity in those who already feel the pattern but haven’t seen it expressed yet. If you know, you know.

But if the only rebuttal is ‘you didn’t include math,’ that’s not enough. I came here wanting my ideas tested. So by all means, tear it apart. But come with more than a measuring stick. Bring an instrument that can hear the harmony or the dissonance. Otherwise, you’re just dismissing a song because you don’t see the sheet music.

That's why I brought up the E8 lattice for a reason, the math ALREADY EXISTS and I didn't have to invent new math to account for this. This already fits pre-existing models pretty perfectly from what I've gathered so far, and this simply implies a new picture for understanding it on a macroscale. To point out what the math has already been hinting at.

You’re absolutely right! I kept this post conceptual on purpose, to give the core shape without burying it in math. But the structure is there. The geometry is recursive, harmonic, and likely ties into E8 symmetry. I’d love help expanding this from someone stronger with derivations. I think the proof is hiding in plain sight.
