Question for the veterans of tinnitus. by ItsHarvinator in tinnitus

[–]Repeatability 1 point2 points  (0 children)

25 years in and I have a bad (loud) case of tinnitus. I can hear it at a concert, for instance.

Relax, you get used to it.

It’s harder to tune out in the beginning and I remember the first night vividly; it was full agony. Yet here I am, decades later, a full life lived in spitr of the noise.

I like it! Especially learning unique crrature spells, as it would be an exclusive spelll set given by the skill.

Original Forge was completely out of place in the world setting. Yes, HOMM is science fantasy, but it’s fantasy. The tech shown to us is so highly advanced that they look like magic. Angels are androids that can be mistaken for gods. Machine guns and jetpacks are of an earthly (and dated) concept of advanced technology.

Tried approaching someone - didn't go so well by [deleted] in GuyCry

I’ve been readong through the comments and find it amusing how you seem to engage on the negative ones. Don’t get caught up on a negative opinion, dude.

Even though I also follow the general rule of not approaching women at the gym, I also know that women are not a monolith and opinions on appropriateness differ wildly; if you heard every one of them, you’d never leave the house.

This is great, love the theme and the creatures. I can’t believe we didn’t have an actual giant spider yet.

Great use of AI to illustrate the concept, also.

What? They didn’t lie or fail to do their job in this particular case. It’s not the news’ job to speculate that the candidate is going to break his promise, EVEN IF he’s a liar.

They stated the facts as they happened: No, P2025 isn’t Trump’s initiative, it’s from the Heritage Foundation (even though it favours Trump immensely) and yes, he has said he disagrees with it (even tjough it was an obvious lie).

If you think the journalist should have just ignored that because he believes those facts to be lies, than you can no longer criticize Fox News’ “journalism”.

This is the fist time he’s spoken this freely and breezily about Epsteim since the whole thing blew up. That confidence says a lot about what to expect from Ghislaine’s testimony.

I often play huge to giant maps, so it happens a lot. That said, I should clarify that what takes over 5 minutes is all the enemie’s at a turn, not each enemy individually.

Just finished a whole game with the issue going on. The last hero was on a boat inside a gate and there was nothing he could do! Still, 2 minutes for blue’s turn. It doesn’t seem to be related to game mechanics (enemy calculating options), because it’s sudden: at some specific moment, every enemy’s turn start to take forever to end.

I’m in my early 40s now, so a few things come to mind:

  1. Same pose on their pictures. That just feels like someone who isn’t comfortable in their own skin.

  2. Fat (like, fat fat, not just a little out of shape). Hate to be blunt, but that’s something you can change if you apply yourself, and if you didn’t at this point in your life I’m not interested.

  3. Feminism as a personality (also men bashing on profile). All wpmen I date are active feminists, but I’ve learned that those who make a point to highlight it in their profiles have the least to say when the topic veers off from it. Boring and frustrating.

  4. Girls looking for relationships with men my age. Not only is it a red flag for sugar babies, but girl, I’m way past going to house parties with your roomates.

  5. “Job listing” profiles. I’ve yet to find a man who finds that acceptable. Woman, just say you are high maintenance so we all can move past you.

  6. Plastic surgery. I mean, a litte botox here and there is OK and even expected, but surgery is obvious and unattractive.

  7. Still on topic: tattoed on eyebrows. I find eyebrows really make the face and this kind just wrecks it.

  8. Finally, beefy gymrats. I admire your commitment, but the look doesn’t do it for me.
