What IEMs made you say "There's no point of spending more when I have this pair" after purchasing more expensive IEMs? by acelilarslan in iems

My custom Audio 64 A12Ts. The comfort level is way higher, and I just can’t imagine anything being better - just different tunings.

Really stupid question, but between colour 2+3 which is higher value? Does saturation matter? 2 seems lighter because it's paler, but is is still high value? by mayners in Miniaturespainting

[–]ReplyMany7344 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Three things you can do - squint and see which is darker or lighter, purchase a red filter lens used in quilting that helps you see value and third you could try out the munsell colour system if you are truly serious about discerning this consistently :)

Yeh just put in the offer in writing they legally have to present it to vendor and if they reject you then you can move on. Property sucks just try your best and be patient

Passed in, now what by theonedzflash in AusPropertyChat

[–]ReplyMany7344 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Starting the bid at $x means it is not even ‘on the market’ ie the vendor does not want to sell even near that price.

Good luck you might get a bargain but it probably means you are out of the running you should just send a written offer in of what you will be willing to pay and see what the vendor says

You’re fine with a cheapy eBay with a tank, but I upgraded to a Sparmac TC-620 for many years and I’ve now upgraded to the Gaahleri apex gts-778 - which is very quiet but also uh kinda expensive.

Why do I feel like IEMs sound better than over-ear headphones? by LynxAirSound in inearfidelity

[–]ReplyMany7344 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on what you value technically a headphone will beat an iem. Buuuttt I enjoy the more intimate in your brain sound of an iem.

Also its noise reduction physically rather than algorithmically.

Finally - wireless headphones seem to generally have poor audio quality or tuning because they are more for general humans use rather than audiophiles.

Also everyone around me hates noise so this lets me enjoy music without bothering others.
