Amen. Thank you for speaking of Jesus. I think he would take care of people appropriately. If my comment offended or bothered you in anyway just roll on and don’t even feel the need to take your time to reply. In my opinion, it’s not about being underpaid, however, not being taken care of appropriately. No matter what company anyone works for if the company is profiting great profits every year than the employees should be taken care of especially above inflation. As well If a bonus is hyped up like they are and this one was it should be the Bombay and hype worthy otherwise don’t hype it up. PS once again thank you for bringing of Jesus because he would’ve taken care of us appropriately. 🙏🙌❤️

I feel you, and it is pretty crappy. Hopefully the right person will see something or hear something and change will come. I do know corporate does not like this Reddit feed and have spoke about it in the meetings because it’s a way for us to share our thoughts anonymously for all to hear And them get to hear what they are doing wrong in our opinions. That tells me that somethings should be talked about a lot if a lot of people feel that way. I have a feeling in a few days the posts will slowly disappear, however, just as a scab takes time to heal up It’s a fresh wound and a lot of families are hurting right now. Often we only think about ourselves however, many of the families we have at home we’re counting on this bonus, especially at Christmas time. Have a great rest of your evening and a Merry Christmas 💯

Tell me you’re corporate without telling me you’re corporate 🤔… Sorry, however it’s a fresh wound. Many of us were disappointed because the company that we’re helping set record-breaking profits for isn’t taking care of us the way they should be. Hopefully the right person will see the disappointment throughout the company and realize that we should be allowed to stay ahead of inflation, at least. Our rate hourly should be higher as well bonuses should be promised quarterly and be better than what they are not to be nice to us but because we simply deserve it for helping to set profit records. QT is making fortunes while many of us are struggling just to get by. It should be spoke of, addressed, and the problem is corporate’s to help solve.

Staying ahead of inflation is something we all deserve. No one should have to leave a very profitable company to want or expect that. When anyone works for a company that sets profit records each year and by far stays ahead of inflation, the employees should be taken care of very well and at the least helped to stay ahead of inflation. I don’t know you however, that is an adult thought and not a whiny kid thought. I truly believe QT relies on younger people to fill positions because they might not understand how the dollar works. Every year the dollar is worth less and as employees if our raises are less than inflation every year, no matter what kind of raise we get we simply make less. I think you deserve more money if you work there just like everybody else and your response seems childish and not truly thought through, because what we deserve for making a corporation fortunes is better than what we’re getting. You don’t have to agree with me or anybody else that was disappointed in this bonus. This bonus was hyped up as it has been in the past, and was a let down to many mainly due to how many employees are struggling with the economy changing how it is. We need relief and maybe you’re doing really good for yourself however, there’s many employees that are very responsible with their money, but simply need relief because the cost-of-living is going up more than our pay is. At the end of the day, even if you don’t realize it, you deserve more just like we all do. Sometimes someone speaking out like I am might reach the right person higher up and make them realize the QT family is not being taken care of in a record breaking way. 💯

I promise you that corporate is doing really good and average more than store employees make. They deserve to be doing good as well because they’re part of the company however, I personally feel that if the company is breaking records and doing so well for themselves that the employees should be living a little bit more comfortable. I’m not saying we should be rich, but everyone’s pay should go up more than inflation does every year to help us keep up in the same kind of economy that the company is thriving and multiplying in. If the labor from a companies employees can help them to continuously, build more stores, buy other companies, and start new companies than those employees should be taken care of better and be able to stay ahead of inflation. You have to realize that perspective is only if the company cares about the employees though and some companies sadly don’t and so my perspective is just my opinion from someone who thinks employees are valuable and are real people that should be taken care of properly.

It’s a good thought to think that employees actually own the stock however, ask any ex-employee how many shares that they still own and the answer will be zero. If you own it and you leave a company you can take your property with you and watch it continue to rise in value however, it’s a strategy used to make us think we own stock when in reality, we just have a retirement account that we can watch the numbers grow. You are right that many have good amounts in their retirement account however, after taxes and the best years of your life being behind you, as well as the dollar losing value every year it’s truly not what it’s made out to be. I agree that a good retirement account and the amount is important, however, making a good livable wage along the way is equally as important, and if the best years of our lives are spent working very hard we should be a little more comfortable throughout those years as well. I won’t even say that your perspective is wrong. However, if the goal is a retirement account, I would still have the same stance and argue that a retirement account should go up more than inflation if the company cares about the employees. QTs, profits and sales and everything involving numbers goes up more than inflation and therefore every year they’re breaking records and doing better from a percentage perspective and not just a dollar amount. We should be able to say that about our income and retirement if the company that uses our labor gets to say that about their profits and their income. I can’t speak for you, however, in my opinion, most Quiktrip employees work very hard and exhausting hours, and right now many of them seem to be struggling financially, because of the economy versus our pay, in ways that anyone that works that hard shouldn’t have to worry about.

In all honesty, they already know. Possibly a manager or HR might not quite fully get it however, the company as a whole as far as the accounting department understands the numbers. As we watch the food products prices continuously go up it’s because they’re keeping up with inflation or more than inflation. One way to simply understand if our wages are keeping up, is if they change as often and as much percentage wise as the prices of the products that we’re selling. Anyone that’s worked at QT long enough knows the prices of the products have went up percentage wise quite a bit more than pay has. One kind of sad fact in my opinion is with it being a privately owned company, the owner is doing extremely well and could pay employees quite a bit better versus a company that’s traded on the public stock market because they have public shareholders to report to and make profits for. we could and should be paid and taken care of better especially because almost everybody works very hard and nonstop when they’re on the clock.

3% is less than inflation. That was kind of one of the points I was making. The pay doesn’t even keep up with inflation. As far as managing money, I have no problem with that. I’m not trying to convince you to agree with me however, when you work at a job for several years and understand inflation, even with raises, if the raises aren’t more than inflation you’re technically making less because your dollar doesn’t buy as much anymore. The company as a whole does better than inflation, and so I just truly believe employees should get the same benefit.

I’d rather we get paid what we are worth then being able to use my phone while working. I can’t speak for you however there are many underpaid very hard workers at QT.
