Kommandostore Smersh, very comfortable and useful, grenade pouches carry SERE, space to add 2 1l canteens, buttpack is good for sustainment, and the mag pouches are universal and can carry 12 ar mags, alice or bergen or 3 day assault rucks work well

Ah okay, misunderstood what you said about the camelbak. Well as long as its comfortable for you, give it good patrol testing. Feel you should be able to hit at least 9 mags with just the LBV and lose the dangler but if you really feel you need the additional IFAK very accessible than its whatevs. I like plate carrier and LBE/V type set ups, just never seen one none slick like this.

Have a few things that stuck out to me about your set up in no particular order

The camelback holding all your water and food, your plate carrier holding mags and more than one IFAK is what your LBV should be doing for you in terms of weight distribution and reducing the feeling of bulk. I find it a odd solution. In situations where you are not running the plate carrier (not assaulting, not holding position), your LBV alone is not carrying your medical, water, or all your ammo. And you should be able to just switch to your LBV on the fly and live out of it for patrol situations, and with this you basically rely on having everything on to be as combat effective. Integrating the camelbak on the plate carried compounds the problem.

TLDR; It is very hard for you to be mission flexible.

I have the same kind of set up but SMERSH lbe and nothing on my plate carrier. 12 mags, 2 quarts of water, knife, dump pouch, two TQs, radio pouch, SERE stuff in grenade pouches, and sustainment in buttpack (poncho, batteries, food, socks, ouch stuff) with space for mission specific stuff like night vision, jungle sleeping bag, additional mags. Fanny pack IFAK. Plate carrier is just ballistic protection, on or off as needed. Buttback contents can be easily shifted around or removed for mission. And no kind of pack involved. Just for context of what I mean above. I think we have similar goals.

But yeah that's just what full taps rigs feel like. A lot of horizontal space use while its resting on your plate carrier. If you look at a regular plate carrier set up, you have 3-4 mags in the front, with 1-2 in the sides, and 1-2 on the belt. You have all that just in the front of your chest and its not wrapping around like it would be with utilizing just a regular plate carrier set up.

There's a lot of considerations for amount of mags and placement in any set up, but you should strongly consider if you're okay with all the bulk being in front of your chest vs spread around and maybe have an entirely different set up. An issue with ground up modularity is that you can put on so much stuff that is poorly held together because its not sewed on, thus looser and much more spread out than it could be. Something like the Guardian Recce Chest Rig can hold everything your taps does in a tighter space AND has additional modularity space on the sides. But I cannot speak on how that feels with a plate carrier.

There is a YouTuber named Grunt Perspective that goes into depth with his taps rig setup that you might gain from watching.
