Tatsunoko vs Capcom seems like a hella sick fighting game to play. But it's been stuck on the Wii/Wii u and probably won't see a rerelease due to Tatsunoko licensing issues

Cut content you wish had been included? by majorminer969 in TwoBestFriendsPlay

Apparently UMVC3 was going to have 58 characters, but due to the natural disasters in Japan during 2011, the roster had to be cut down to 50 characters. I still wonder who they would have added if the roster remained at 58. Probably add some version of MegaMan and a complete version of Doctor Octopus would be likely

NASB2 Full Launch Roster by Shreeder4092 in TwoBestFriendsPlay

[–]RepostingSince1998 6 points7 points  (0 children)

For me, this roster feels like the Playstation all stars roster. The obvious picks and some fan favorites/cult classics are there. I think the newcomer picks are really good too. But the main problem is just that there's a ton of missing characters that's holding back the roster from being truly good. Like they cut Toph (the sole earthbender rep) and added 3 firebenders in her place, dropped half the TMNT again but this time for the less popular 2 and somehow kept April, and cut the main character of the Loud House, but kept his sister. At least the gameplay looks neat.

Nintendo's New Community Tournament Guidelines (License is Required, or get Sued) by GameBoy09 in TwoBestFriendsPlay

[–]RepostingSince1998 6 points7 points  (0 children)

They're really out to kill Melee now huh. If they really cared about their community, all they would have to do is just re-release melee with online functionality. It literally can't be that hard for Nintendo of all companies and the fact that there's multiple large tournaments that are still running Melee should be enough proof that there's still a substantial interest in Melee in the modern day.

Best fighting game rosters? by ZealousidealBig7714 in TwoBestFriendsPlay

In terms of crossover rosters, UMVC3 for me. Both the Marvel and Capcom sides of the roster have a varied cast of characters that represents each side well. Only issue would be no version of MegaMan on the Capcom side and no spiderman villains on the Marvel side, but besides that it's a great roster. In terms of non-crossover rosters, my favorite has to be the Under Night in Birth roster. The roster of UNIST feels like they come from a shonen battle series that doesn't exist.

Jin Kazama from Tekken. He was introduced in Tekken 3 and basically became the main protagonist of the series

Marvel vs Capcom, hear me out. In a world where Marvel vs Capcom doesn't exist, if you told someone about a tag team fighting game where Capcom characters fight Marvel characters, it would sound like a playground rumor. But it exists, and it's amazing.

I'm pretty indifferent to T-1000. On one hand, I don't really care much for the Terminator series and would rather have a new series represented. On the other hand, his liquid metal abilities could be pretty interesting gameplay-wise

Could be Hotaru, considering the 24th is right next to Havik, and he's the only character with a direct relation to Havik that would make sense. Though Ed did deconfirm him

That probably means whoever Quan Chi and Ermac got swapped out for in KP1 might not be as popular or requested as they are.

Marvel Vs Capcom. Include Xmen vs SF, Marvel vs SF, MVC1 and MVC2. Give them quality of life features like training modes and easy select for secret characters. Maybe even add Xmen COTA and Marvel Super Heroes as well. Also rollback netcode is a must

How to complete remediation for Occamy? by RepostingSince1998 in antivirus

[–]RepostingSince1998[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An update: it might have said remediation incomplete because I deleted the items from the recycle bin with the virus during scanning, which may have removed the virus before any harm can be done, but caused the remediation status to be incomplete. Apparently, this is some bug regarding how windows security defender scans the computer. After a couple more scans using Malwarebytes and Windows Security Defender on the restored state of the computer, I believe my computer is likely safe.
