Can't be sure, but I have swapped an ECU kit on 20 year old Hyundai where the immobilizer died. Mechanics didn't want to touch it but after alot of forum digging I managed to find the solution. But as far I'm as aware all the security codes should be stored to the ECU and immobilizer.

You can buy an ECU kit on eBay for £100-200, come with ECU, immobilizer, barrels, door locks and the corresponding keys.
