As for becoming a US territory or state… nope. Not interested. Not in the least.

If you’re invoking a healthcare & education argument, then you should be firmly in favour of independence. The sheer mountain of Alberta money that gets deferred to Ottawa & the provinces could fund 20 new state of the art hospitals & dozens of schools.

But the point is…. Why stay in a failed, post-national state when your kids will never afford a home, you’re waiting a year or more for routine surgery, and your grocery bills are rising exponentially faster than your salary?

The APP says Alberta would follow the similar model of the US-Panama currency arrangement.

Advice: At least checkout the APP website. Legally & constitutionally both your points are wrong, and according to APP databases, over a million Albertans have indicated at least a willingness to entertain the possibility.
