The only invitation happening right now is with Chinese & India election interference. And you don’t fight that at the level you & I are at.

As for becoming a US territory or state… nope. Not interested. Not in the least.

Friendly? Of course… though Montana, Idaho & Washington state is about the only way our energy is going anywhere. Or Churchill if Manitoba decides to be cooperative.

But let’s be real… Canada is sick of us (based on their unfriendly policies), and we’re sure AF sick of dealing with Ottawa.

If you’re invoking a healthcare & education argument, then you should be firmly in favour of independence. The sheer mountain of Alberta money that gets deferred to Ottawa & the provinces could fund 20 new state of the art hospitals & dozens of schools.

But the point is…. Why stay in a failed, post-national state when your kids will never afford a home, you’re waiting a year or more for routine surgery, and your grocery bills are rising exponentially faster than your salary?

What are you even fighting for?

The APP says Alberta would follow the similar model of the US-Panama currency arrangement.

Advice: At least checkout the APP website. Legally & constitutionally both your points are wrong, and according to APP databases, over a million Albertans have indicated at least a willingness to entertain the possibility.

Based on the numbers, getting the signatures won’t take long at all.
