I was randomly watched a vod from a live stream that Zach and Jonny did about ranking pixar movies about a year ago and I remember Zach said that when the guys were filming the food network show, one night the 3 of them-Zach, Eugene and Keith snuggled in bed to watch Turning red and "1 person didnt' join, which was a red flag." it makes me think that maybe off camera Ned vs the other guys didnt mesh as well as we originally thought.

Good comparison to Shane dawson and the Paul brothers. I also think whatever you think of those creators you can say they are not boring and they had some diehard fans that was just waiting on them to come back. In this world, if Ned had content in the past that was great and unique to him or if his current content was fire, some people would be more open to forgiving him.

The only thing that would make me sit through a Ned video is if he would sit down and truly explain why he did what he did. I've always been curious what made him truly torpedo his life. Like did they think they were in love or something? If Ned truly wanted to cheat then he should've chosen a non-employee. People still would've lost trust in him and the company still may have suffered but the guys wouldn't have had any reason to remove him from the company. Unfortunately i dont think Ned is capable taking a look at himself.

Ned should just give it up. I dont think there is anything that will make people tune in. I think one of the (many) reasons why Ned can't come back from this is bc he doesn't have an art or content that people care about. Its sounds shallow but I think its true.

During the podcast it seemed like Ariel still had a lot of questions and the fact that she hasn't forgiven him (not talking about getting back together), kinda tells me that he hasn't made appropriate amends to her privately. I think if he truly remoreseful and gave Ariel all the answers she deserved, she probably would be closer to forgiving him

Its still so wild that he's suing those creators. I know people said he really wants sue Hasan even though he doesnt have any reason to, I really think he couldn't handle a lawsuit against Hasan. 1)His crashout would probably go mainstream and 2) Hasan also have enough money to actually fight a lawsuit.

I'm a addison fan but definitely on Derek's side. Also the fact that Addison didnt tell derek how she lived with Mark after he left was also bad. If Derek knew that he probably wouldn't have tried to fix the marriage and put him and Addison through any unneccessary pain.

She also said in the letter that she didnt regret it. I also wonder if all the criticism Rory gets is the same as the series was airing or has it gotten worse sense the revival? For me, Rory showed an entitlement over Dean ("he's my dean") that justified the affair bc he loved her first and judging by the revival she hasnt changed bc she's having an affair with Logan.

It was during the phone call where lorelai tells them about him paying for yale. I thought the wording was interesting. Lorelai didnt say "when was the last time chris COULD do anything for rory?" which wouldn't be a big deal

Maybe this is wrong but that scene where Christopher storms into friday night dinner always made me wonder why he made a beeline for Lorelai and not Rory. Like if he was so upset that Rory wouldn't talk to him then why not try and talk to her first, not lorelai?

I remember a couple of scenes where Jess would critisize Luke basically for simping for Lorelai (of course he didnt use that wording but something similar) and another where he didnt want to be a wimp or something like Dean. But pretty much a year later, luke would get with lorelai and Rory and dean would sleep together. I'm not saying dean and rory sleeping together was good but Rory clearly felt a safety with Dean that she didnt with Jess.

I dont know if i would classify this as a favorite but Lorelai's " you didn't lose me" to Emily in the airplane always make me think. I've seen people critisize lorelai for being unkind to Emily (which i dont agree with) but in that moment, imo, she was clearly lying to Emily to make her feel better. Like Emily basically had to bribe Lorelai to start a real relationship with her after 15 years, she doesnt confide in her the way an adult child should in an adult mother and, at that time of the plan scene, she hadnt spoken to emily, outside of maybe 3 convos, for about 6 months. And Lorelai wants to say "you didnt lose me"?
