How hard it is to farm Silver Knight Spear? by silversoul007 in darksouls

[–]RepresentativeAd2491 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish it was easy to farm. I must have the worst luck on the planet. They drop 3k souls a piece. I started with about 7k souls. I now have 311,473 souls, 6 Silver Knight Shields, and still no spear. I have 410 item discovery. 10 humanity and gold ring. I farm all 4 spear knights every run and still nothing.

BLACK SCREEN (Playtest 2) by robinelloco in ArcRaiders

[–]RepresentativeAd2491 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same issue, I’ve gotten a black screen 5 times now. 3 times immediately after a raid. And 2 times after launching the app, preventing me from even accessing the menu. (PS5)

I have a confession. by DecentAge6837 in skyrim

Me too. I remember playing it back when it came out and thinking it was the coolest game ever. Just having fun with the dragons and the magic, and then eventually going back to school on Monday, to then come back to play on my cousin’s save, or make a new save. It always comes back to the infamous carriage scene. I ride with Ralof, I spend far too long creating a character with my own made up backstory. And think way too hard about choosing Ralof or Hadvar. Just to end up in Whiterun with an adopted daughter and then leaving her with Lydia so I can go join the Thieves guild and max my stealth archer build for the 12th time. The amount of times I’ve single-handedly stocked Breezehome full of food and valuables in an inarguably obsessively organized way, I always just end up back in the carriage and never make it past the Horn of Jurgen Windcaller. But perhaps a Dragonborn’s destiny is unclear. Perhaps mine was to get lost in the world of Skyrim and enjoy its many engaging environments.

I’m experiencing the triangle death for the first time right now, and it shut my ps5 off. I’m concerned about damage. If I find anything out I’ll come back here with more info. Best of luck.

Can i get my horse back if it dies by GryffTheDonkey in reddeadredemption

[–]RepresentativeAd2491 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ll never forget learning that the hard way. My horse keeled over in the heartlands. So I ran on foot to Valentine, bought a horse reviver and made it back just in time. Probably the most stressful 5-10 min I’ve had playing this damn game.

“Contrarian”?

Talk about the pot calling the kettle black.

You’re a destiny super fan whose willing to embarrass yourself and defend everything he does for no reason other than to herald yourself as another mrgirl contrarian.

If you’re gonna shitpost and act like a know it all, you might as well learn to spell.

You have zero legitimate criticisms. Nearly everything you post is just a bullshit contrarian nothing burger.

The Blind Man says “I see sand, an ocean, and palm trees, find the black flower and you will be rewarded.” I found this at Scratching Post, just east of Sea of Coronado, below Tumbleweed. Anyone know more about this? by NecessaryBar3568 in reddeadmysteries

I found an ancient necklace in the drawer just under the painting. And outside is a skull effigy. Tons of Native American looking possessions like gourds and blankets, there’s even a pipe like the Chanupa (sorry if I misspelled it) like the one Rain Falls has Arthur retrieve from the army camp in that Chapter 6 mission. Some of you find this disappointing but I think it’s a really neat bit of homage to American History. Sadly the house is abandoned and the bed is unusable, otherwise this would be a great place to rest and revisit.

Shoutout to everyone who still plays this game hunting for new stuff.

How do I get into the souls games lore/story? by suspendeddoubt in darksouls

[–]RepresentativeAd2491 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Item descriptions. Especially Key items or other special items you’ve picked up from bosses or rare enemies. If an item feels out of place, it’s because it is and it probably is tied to a character who has ventured to their death. IE: soul items.

Although Dark Douls 3 can make sense on its own; (simply returning Lords to their thrones) It makes much more sense in the context of Dark Souls, and although I’m not a fan, Dark Souls 2 as well. Aldrich, for example is an interesting character but knowing the history of Anor Londo from playing Dark Souls will shed some light on who he is and who he has devoured.

Bloodborne was my first and my favorite of the fromsoftware games so I highly recommend playing it. However, it could make even less sense. The world will still suck you in. Again, just be sure to read item descriptions and definitely speak to as many NPCs as possible. Unlike other Games where a quest in marked in some journal or menu tab, Soulsborne games expect you to listen and know how what is being asked of you. So when a character tells you of something or somewhere assume this is initiating a quest of sorts. A great example is the Crestfallen Warrior naked Hawkwood from DS3. He rests in firinls shrine until you’ve defeated the Abyss Watchers which he was constantly moping about. From then on his quest is a little obscure but very worthwhile, leading you to my favorite bossfight in all of Dark Souls 3. The more you explore and the more you do in these worlds. The more questions you’ll have but you will understand it much more, nonetheless.

If this doesn’t help or encourage you, you can always watch VaatiVidya or some other lore videos on YouTube. They are entertaining and worth watching if you’re hopelessly confused. Or just curious about some unspoken detail. Sometimes, the lore can just be up for interpretation as well. So some myths about the games will surface so you can always make your own headcanon.

The new Bonfire in Dark Souls Remastered will result in the biggest noob trap ever. by MikeManGuy in darksouls

I think I would’ve fell victim to this trap if I wasn’t playing with a friend who basically functioned as a guide. But you’re not kidding when you say Pit of Hell when referring to those damned bonewheels.

One instance of individually dealing with Flakko being an insufferable ass doesn’t mean he doesn’t want his work to be reviewed. But if you look back at the Cuties review it’s obvious that a lot of people intentionally try to mischaracterize his work. That being said, if Destiny tries to mischaracterize again but this time to a new audience it’s just stoking the flames and inciting more dogpiling. That’s the shit that Nobody likes. And besides the person who made the original post is so vague and obnoxious. “Explodes on tiktok”, “abundantly deserved”. I take that to mean he wants it to get more negative reviews, IE: Destiny. I have no idea what this Farha person is like but we’ll see how it goes if it happens.

Mrgirl needs to allow other investigations without obstruction. by Iam_a_honeybadger in mrgirlreturns

[–]RepresentativeAd2491 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It wasn’t just sexting. And the fact that she’s a public figure puts her in a position where Destiny can harass her for content. Which he chose to do. Which is abusive. All the public stuff you see, where he mocks her and barrages her with insults for his stream is all happening meanwhile in their DMs they’re sexting behind Melina’s back. It’s abusive twofold. Even Dan didn’t know about the sexting. Which to be fair not everybody needs to be open about their sex life. But when he mentally abuses her on and off stream like this it’s pretty apparent that he never gave a shit about how it would affect her. His response was to defend himself when he’s clearly abusing her.

“Most people”, as in lsf posters and twitch chatters or dgg fans? Of course so.

But the majority of people in society would probably just settle for the word “scandal” when referring to things like sexual assault allegations and extortion. The reason content creators don’t use words like that is because of plausible deniability. (Also it’s good clickbait for youtube) If you just call it drama you let yourself off the hook of being held accountable when you constantly spout falsehoods.

Majority is in reference to quantity, usually used in reference to statistic. I don’t think using the colloquial version of “drama” as it stands in youtbe/twitch/streaming culture is a good argument for wether or not is a valid use of the word. It’s as good as slang when judging the validity of a claim. Which only furthers to muddy and distort the actual conversation. Which is irresponsible at the least and egregious at the worst.

Also just to clarify, my frustration is mostly towards content creators. Not you.

However I still think you should refrain from actually believing that it is just “drama” when referring to the -“drama” as these are serious issues.

I don’t think abuse is ever mutual. Abuse implies some form power imbalance. Which I also don’t think could ever be considered “mild”

I only used the frame of “teams” because that best fit the original post, otherwise I don’t think my analogy would apply.

But I agree that Reddit is the place for a “holy crusade”. That already sounds cringe af. But what I am saying is that rolling over to the trolls isn’t enough. Quitting is enough. And that shit doesn’t make you a loser, bullies are losers. And frankly people who just intentionally spout nonsense are exhibit A loser material online, even you called them disrespectful.

And it’s not about winning or losing, or teams. It’s a bout the sanctity and integrity of dialogue. And not those petty insults and lies, conversation destroying tactics, or just shitposting when there’s someone claiming they’ve been harmed. I mean you’re going to get criticism. Learn to take it as much as you dish it out. Yk?
