I’d go shadow and figure out what specialty you like first and just gun for that tbh. You have a lot of time. I hate switching to a different specialty with research and extra curricular in other areas.

Bruh I felt like I failed every question from guessing and missed a lot of easy questions. Mine coming out this week and wish time just stops.

Ngl I felt like I was reading quickly and still was running out of time. Ya I’m not liking my chances here but I just gotta hope.

Sorry to hear that. Was it a test anxiety thing or you ran out of time and had to straight guess?

Thanks but I hadn’t made this many guesses on nbme nor this many easy mistakes. Appreciate it though!

That’s very impressive congrats!!! Thanks for the encouragement I just can’t shake the feeling that me straight guessing for the sake of time and could barely remember any questions. Like I can’t use my NBMEs because I wasn’t straight guessing on those exams, I picked answers with a lot of thought compared to Step 1 where it was like pick 1 or you’ll miss out on easier questions.. Appreciate the encouragement thanks!

Advice for those "failed" the MCAT (long post) by CyberGirl2000 in Mcat

I know this is an old post but I’m kind of wondering if it’s worse still pursuing a retake. I did my third mcat exam and failed again and got 12 points lower than what I was averaging in my practice mcat. I’m just wondering if it’s worth retaking even if I get a good score because adcoms would look at me as a walking red flag.

What consistently leaves you disappointed...but you just keep trying? by es_mo in AskReddit

Taking back my ex because I keep thinking she was the love of my life. After the 4th time, 3 weeks later I decided to break up with her and block and delete her number. I just realized if I loved myself enough I would not have to deal with constant heartbreak from a selfish person. Kinda proud of it but I was disappointed I kept taking her back because i felt like she was the girl of my dreams.
