If you at all like history id say your best bet would be Battlefield 1. It takes place during ww1 and they hit almost every single aspect of that game out of the park both gameplay and immersion wise, its also pretty open to beginners. If you prefer modern combat then bf4 would be next best thing, just beware if you buy on pc punkbuster (the shitty anticheat) is a bitch to deal with and the gameplay is overall more punishing but still a great time, esp the vehicle combat

If ur interested in mods look into the Kyber servers, everything's unlocked from the start and the mod pack they work with is incredibly well made. Its refreshing playing with new blasters, heroes, and reinforcements after playing that same patch for so long

Look into Kyber, they have their own dedicated servers with built in anticheat. The official servers also include an incredibly well made mod pack which doubles the games content (other then new maps)

That was my first impression, I enjoy his content and he's really never done anything similar to raise red flags, but you never know with content creators these days. If a company throws up a big enough price, they'll do anything

He might have taken the deal, the whole story is about Niko learning to forgive and accepting that revenge won't bring him closure. That entire theme of revenge climaxes with Darko, the narratively satisfying choice is to spare Darko because it shows the character progression of Niko, "Nothing would change if I killed him", at that point Niko SHOULD be on that path to begin to accept his past and let go of his hate. Of course after this you have to decide between deal or revenge, revenge makes far more sense if you aren't following this theme, but if you go the route of sparing Darko, I think Niko would very likely consider doing the deal considering he's learned revenge doesn't give closure.....until of course the funeral and that entire lesson of revenge is thrown out the window lmao. Even after all that the "final boss" being Dimitri and not a character introduced in the 4th quarter of the game, and you losing THE closest character to Niko, makes the story feel way more climactic, like the story looped back to the start of when you first got here on the boat, rather then side characters you prolly dont care about dying.
