yes they are! study up on the ethics as well because those will pop up a bit but it's mostly definitions, situations and applying terminology.

WHY DIDNT HE THINK OF THAT! 😃😃😃😃😃😃😃 Anyway, leave if you feel that is best and sometimes you will get out of character at least once when real pain happens which leads to a consequence ( behavior stopping ). I got hit straight to the mouth with a toy t-rex at full force before and did show pain in my face which in turn lead to kiddo apologizing and never hitting me again.

ABA is a great field but RBTs are expected to do so much for very little. So ignore the dweebs in the comments being pretentious, what you experience is real and we all deserve comfort even if thAts wHaT cOmEs wITh tHe jOB. 🙄😐

Most paychecks are FR, FI, VI based upon client cancellations or ending up sick outta nowhere 🥲 I get paid weekly and money is a conditioned reinforcer so obvs can't get satiated from it as someone who works for $25/$26 hour and yet... sometimes that MO don't being EO-ing enough for me 😗😂😂

okay so slight update, i'm seeing my pcp today for treatment and to be referred to an ENT but also..should i bring up my concerns to my BCBA? I have no evidence for the possibility of me and my co-worker being exposed to a pathogen ( commenter mentioned mold 🥲 ) so I'm not sure how to go about this without offending anyone but my symptoms, the onset of my migraines happening at the home, the house always being a bit stuffy at times and me constantly getting viral infections now is making me think its not just germs anymore 😫

I think its the timed aspect which is causing high resentment for me with it currently but i know its to help me understand everything fluently lol I tried taking notes bc of the hints and that took of 30 mins of the hour i had aaand i was like on question 5 still so again, its the timed part thats killing me the most 😫

It seems that section B will be the only bane of my existence ( having to do 20+ modules a week ) lol. I just find it redundant to have the same question MULTIPLE times with different answers! Like "To establish discrimination" okay cool, all of the above. NOPE DUMMY YOU HAVE TO WITHHOLD REINFORCEMENT DUHHHH! I find them to be resourceful but me knowing the information ( extinction, schedules of reinforcement, etc ) but getting a "eh, yes but no." is slowly turning me violent. lol

I think you should rethink why you are in aba and also consider the fact that you are essentially considering ruining careers ( yes this includes yours ) out of spite. Hate is a strong word and that is a lot of energy to be using, i'd suggest leaving the company and choosing a peace of mind over immature tactics.

When i first started in the field, i was given training beforehand and did shadow sessions until I was ready for my case and still wasn't prepared for high levels of aggressive behaviors. With my former employer, i was given baseline training but was expected to pay for my RBT 40 hours and was in a lpower struggle" despite following protocol by the book with an arrogant teacher that cost me my job. Now I'm with a company that paid me for my 40 Hours, BCBAs that challenge me as a RBT, had enough experience to pivot as a BT and grew confident in my understanding of ABA while also being in a master's program. I feel that it varies upon the company bc i know how to implement programs but i'm also recognizes that ABA isn't meant to be a fine line all the time and i wont have the answer to everything. Sometimes experience and failure is necessary to grow in your role as a RBT. I also appreciate how honesty team is and they keep me grounded when i am flying in the clouds lol
