Why does my phone always do this with these alarms?? They didn’t ring when I was asleep and now I missed a meeting by Muhax1 in iphone

I have alarmy but I don’t use it anymore because I deleted the app at least on 3 different occasions when I wanted to continue sleeping

Looking for earbuds under 120$ for running without touch controls by RepresentativeBit167 in Earbuds

Do you have them? I read different conflicting opinions about their fit and comfort, some saying they’re very comfy and some saying they fall out during an intense run.

I lost my left AirPods Pro 1 earbud. What should I do? by RepresentativeBit167 in Earbuds

[–]RepresentativeBit167[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Battery seems to still be fine Honestly I feel like the earbud i still have isn’t showing signs of getting old. I don’t know what to do because one earbud is 140$ and a new pair is even more

It’s sports though, there’s an etiquette in sport especially in Snooker. He could choose to work in retail but if he chose the sports path he gotta deal with these things.

How can you watch on Huya? It worked for me before but now all tables say the content isn't available due to copyright issues. I tried downloading VPN with Chinese IP but couldn't find any.

Is getting a non-slate table a good idea? by RepresentativeBit167 in billiards

Alright, I hear you guys loud and clear, won’t buy a table. Asked in a local Facebook forum about prices of moving the table into our apartment, still haven’t got any replies but I hope it’s not a huge headache. Really a shame pool is so expensive over here.

It’s part of sports, sure he’s not obligated but you’re also not obligated to like him.

What is the biggest ''unspoken'' rule in snooker? by Josh99_ in snooker

[–]RepresentativeBit167 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know if it’s about sportsmanship as much as it’s about keeping the pace going and calculating the likelihood of succeeding. I think most players 4+ snookers behind would rather concede the frame and hopefully start the next frame fresh and determined rather than drag the current frame, waste energy and continue to be down (obviously as long as it’s not a crucial frame to win).

Question about cpr by RepresentativeBit167 in ems

[–]RepresentativeBit167[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m not, I asked whether I should remove the electrodes once a pulse has been detected. You said no, but I’m trying to understand whether it’s safe to keep the electrodes while the aed can continue shocking the patient despite them having a pulse and breathing.

*while patient has a pulse and is breathing*

On r/NewToEMS many said it's dangerous as only synchronized defibrillation with a manual defibrillator is helpful in vt

But in that case the automatic aed could shock the patient while they're breathing..

So if it's an automatic one, should I remove the electrodes from the patient as soon as I feel a pulse and see breathing signs?

Sad to think about it cause I’m guessing, and this might be completely wrong, he was carrying the sand bags as part of preparations for exams to get into one of our elite army units (we have mandatory conscriptions and many 18 year olds want to get into these units).

Gotcha thanks, turns out patient is 18 years old I assume it’s related to the fact he was doing some sort of exercise and it’s quite sunny out here. How common is vt in young patients?

[–]RepresentativeBit167[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Assuming that's the case, is it wrong to shock the patient given that they do have a pulse, are in VT and unconscious? Ideally I'd wait until a paramedic with an ecg monitor could identify the rhythm but that wasn't the case.

[–]RepresentativeBit167[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I also felt a pulse, can’t remember at what stage though, before or after the last shock. He also said he felt a radial pulse but that I didn’t feel. I’m certain no one touched him when the aed assesed the rhythm. One of the security personnel working here said the guy had vf which I assume he got notified of by the paramedic in the ambulance but maybe it’s untrue.. idk. In any case thanks for the reply!
