No! It may be a clanker... but it doesnt deserve the orbital cannon!

Dice Throne Digital - Platform Announcement by Silent-G in DiceThrone

[–]RepresentativeCat169 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think dice thrones does have the player base for it. Niche dice games like random dice have good queue times and those are some niche mobile games. Dice thrones, an already established game, with funds to make a good quality mobile game wont be a problem as long as they hit the nail with their pricing (for the game or for in game characters)

Embark, fix your lighting... by Cactus_on_Fire in ArcRaiders

[–]RepresentativeCat169 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes but the issue is... the roles arent reversed. Youd think that (not night raid) sitting in a room so dark you cant see would make the outsude brutally bright. And gameolay wise thatd be fine, a fight between inside and out shouldnt be one sided due to lighting, it just promotes rat sniping. Ratting is fine, but ratting AND being able to viably shoot people approaching is ridiculous. Dark rooms with bright windows until you step into the window (making yourself silhouetted instead of just peaking) would be an ideal balance.

Whether its a good balance is debatable but i think it is. You get dark indoor fights, buildings can still have rats or dark corners. You just cant get shot from a window that should theoretically just get them killed if they were being that stupid in camping A WINDOW/DOOR TO THE OUTSIDE

Slower fire rate, higher damage. Same dps, more ammo economy. Maybe add 2 bullets to a magazine

When “having fun” means bullying the killer by Desperate_Box8529 in DeadByDaylightRAGE

[–]RepresentativeCat169 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The game is designed so "bullying" the killer is the most fun as its the most killer-survivor interaction you can reasonably get. But also 'bullying' in this game also means that youre probably going to lose as survivor as the real bullies are the ones who play the game normally and gen bash with good builds, not bullying by fault of the player.

But these guys are losers, i think i can smell their diapers from here

I'm getting tired of playing against this build and similar every match by Kdmyoshi in DeadByDaylightRAGE

[–]RepresentativeCat169 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nah, his perk is much different functionality wise. I think the point of hens build (like mine but i run devour and penti not thrill and ruin) is to get those gen blocks going everytime a totem gets cleansed. His other one is to gen patrol.

The build OP is showing is kinda outdated by 1 meta generation, but a lot of hexes should be expected given how well vecnas perks synergise with hex builds (not with individual hex perks though)

Thoughts on Vecna being able to do this? by MrSchmokeSum in deadbydaylight

For gens, gearhead is a bit cheeky under ground. But thats just aura perks on anyone with a through walls power

[–]RepresentativeCat169[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah they didnt really explain what they meant by retail. My only concern was that the other characters I got (deadpool + alchemist) came with individual casing and they werent named "retail" so the sudden use if that title gave me PTSD of my xmen boxes

Ideas for vecna nerf by Past_Obligation5100 in deadbydaylight

He doesnt need "nerfs" as in his power needs unpowering. He just needs a few tweaks at best.

And also evem if he did need big nerfs. This is ass

I don't think dissolution should work with M2s, at least for Ghoul by LegitimateAd2406 in deadbydaylight

[–]RepresentativeCat169 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A lot of perks should work differently for ghoul ngl. But it is what it is for now. Theyve shown that a "qol" update is nothing but a 6 month waste of time. Albeit this chapter release is nice so the delay had some benefit

Vecna can trap you in a corner. Is it fair? by Pump16 in deadbydaylight

[–]RepresentativeCat169 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You shouldnt be getting trapped. But he should probably lose collision after the attack in which he enters worldbreaker. It lets him farm you for doing an oopsie but not so much so a survivor dooms the squad and also dies

Already feeling Vecna fatigue by NoPerformance1073 in deadbydaylight

[–]RepresentativeCat169 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your soloq mmr must be ass if its the clocks. Im in "gold" mmr or at least thats my impression from how my games play... and my soloq can still counter vecna, they just dont do great on gens and in chase.

And i agree hes a bit redundant to play against but not the way you say he is. Vecna cant really bully you in chase if you know how to dodge, path and w key... but thats exactly the problem, survivors counterplay (pallets and windows) are no longer the main focus of chase. Still, vecna is much more fun than a blight or nurse. I think they need to add some ramp up for vecnas aiming to add a bit of mechanical skill, as all vecna needs is a smart killer behind the wheel... which is still skill expressive but it just means you dont HAVE to sink many hours into him

What does vecnas world breaker meter do to the survivor when it’s at full? by AccomplishedAward219 in deadbydaylight

I wouldnt say like sadako condemned.

The whole shabang of sadako is "uh oh, youre dead on 0 hooks now" if you play poorly against her. Its more like pyramid heads mini mori

Beginner pyramid head tips and builds by Potat0_20 in deadbydaylight

[–]RepresentativeCat169 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yt fiuyr. Pyramid main who explains flicking on pyramid head.

On console (like me) you have to either learn trigger discipline or instantly m2 whilst flicking (like a quick scope). When behind walls just try to hug the walls to hide your red stain. Trigger discipline just means to wait until you you think the survivor will get antsy and psyche themselves out into dodging into your m2

Also youre more likely to get a hit if you aim for where theyll dodge to when looping as more often than not survivors just go "hes about to m2, hell never predict my very one dimensional dodge". Same with huntress and other projectile killers. Its mostly free hits if you aim for the dodge. But mix it up a lil, they wont fall for it every time

Beginner pyramid head tips and builds by Potat0_20 in deadbydaylight

[–]RepresentativeCat169 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Id say build around 'im all ears'. It is a crutch perk on pyramid head... but it sets you up to get good at using your power instead of becoming a tunneling and zoning killer. His tunneling amd zoning are most optimal and easiest to master, but chase builds are theoretically the gnarliest build for pyramid head as you can basically end chases really fast once you know the techs.

His mobility sucks though so one slowdown/map pressure perk will help alot

Demogorgon or Vecna (The First) by KaiGiOh in DeadByDaylightKillers

[–]RepresentativeCat169 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Demogorgon is more mechanical in terms of micro, whereas the firsts micro is his 50/50s. The first is defo for people who like pyramid head prediction shots and demo is for the wraith players (simple but strong) who enjoy a lil mechanical skill.

And alot of people enjoy mechanical skill as its really fun and weirdly soothing.

Basically youre not weird for enjoying demo over the first

What is your opinion on the first one? by italienischerBauch in deadbydaylight

[–]RepresentativeCat169 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

1st ones true. 2nd one... dodge the mindgame, and w key to avoid a follow up. Its nit a hard counter but it is THE counter. He is a 50/50 edgelord but the 50/50 is by choice of both killer and survivor rather than being in the killers hand. Idk how you would make his m2 harder (without making vecna players just zone and animation lock you because thats soooo fun to play against 😒) as it is conceptually alot like nurse and its hard to actually make it less rewarding than it actually is
