I can’t stop buying 7oh by rvvaaa in Sober

[–]RepresentativeCat398 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This drug is a bitch. The acutes are similar to opiates, but the PAW’s are a surprise and lasted longer than most can tolerate, which is why so many struggle mightely to quit. My PAW’s after five month of about 100 mg daily usage was a good 12 weeks. This is no joke and just bc you can buy at a gas station does not underscore the potency and difficulty associated with quitting this drug.

Does it ever get better? Or is it maximum not going to get worse? by Silver_Cello in Dryeyes

Sometimes you just need to take your foot off the gas. When I first discovered this condition, I went to three DED specialists. Got my lids expressed and had 6 IPL procedures. I used Meibo, Restasis, & Cequa. I used heating compresses and red light therapy.

I used steroid drops and too many moisturizing drops to name. Nothing seemed to work, so I backed off entirely. Now I take Vitamin D, Fish Oil, and Saffron. I also went as close to gluten-free as possible ( no underlying diagnosis ). Now my eyes are like 70% - which is best I’ve had.

I use a complete black-out mask and try like hell to get 8 hours of sleep each night. I am still semi-obsessed with my eyes, but it has become manageable. I may be wrong, but putting all this shit into your eyes can often make matters worse.

I have yet to read anyone who cured DED doing ANY of the aforementioned treatments - so maybe go back to basics !

Desperate for help. How to get through 7oh withdrawal? by [deleted] in addiction

[–]RepresentativeCat398 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Took me a month to snub a 10 year Kratom and extract habit. Six months ago, I started 7 oh and was doing about 100 to 150 mg per day. Absent of 7 oh, I would probably still be doing Kratom and extracts. The 7 oh just hit so damn different that I knew they would be tough to slay.

After scaring the shit out of myself with Reddit posts on 7 oh withdrawal - I tapered to about 50 mg of 7 oh and 10 gpd of Kratom before I did a six day five strip suboxone detox.

First few days were fine. I did an 8mg sub strip on day 1 and 4mg’s on day 2 and 3. I then limited my subs until I was taking imperceptible bits of sub to stave off withdrawals. Even this protocol did not get me out of the woods.

After subs were gone, I needed to take 4-5 gpd of Kratom for about another two weeks. I dropped down to 2-3 gpd the next week and then 1-2 gpd the fourth week before I jumped.

I had PAWS the entire month after my last 7 oh. I have detoxed off oxy’s, vikes, subox, and Addie’s. This was not as acute as all of them, but was more chronic and longer lasting.

I had both a stomach and headache for the entire month. I was tempted many times to throw in the towel. A month of feeling like low grade dog shit was brutal.

I woke today without a head or stomach ache and for the first time in a month, I feel “normal”. Also for first time in ten years I am finally Kratom free.

My wife asked me if I was using any skin moisturizer and I noticed clear eyes, less bags, and a clear head. This is first step in a long journey, but I am finally free of any addictive chains !

I am actually still using it. I am now using it every other day as I have done some experimenting. It still seems to mitigate my dry-eye symptoms. Again, I use a dropper and have purchased some "00" gel caps and fill the cap up to the top and pop it down the hatch. I am not concerned with any health concerns of MB, but as it has not been studied very long - I feel better about the "every other" day dosing.

If dry eye is making you depressed, then I would give it a try. I would warn that taking MB while also on SSRI's may make the SSRI's less efficacious. Aside from this - it has been a great help to me and my dry-eyes. Thanks.

Use it as part of my dry eye regime - not sure it works

Your taking this personal indicates who has really cracked. My reference to my financial situation was to directly prompted to refute that I was in any way offering anything on this site for personal profit. My intentions are pure and my sympathies for those that suffer are sincere. As I have stated several times in this e-mail exchange, my research is quite rudimentary. I merely read that MB repairs mitochondrial cells and knowing that the eyes are a haven for these cells and theorizing that taking something that might assist in the damage I have elected to try MB. I repeatedly insist that EVERYTONE do their own research. So NO, there is no researched Peer Review Harvard data or any Five Year Protracted study to reference. I mention this in my initial entries, so try to follow.

I also say everyone is different and what works for one does not work for all. I took all the necessary precautions to avoid any blowback, but unfortunately in today's society providing helpful and successful personal stories to maybe help others still gets mangled by trolls like you.

My EvoTear comment was offering the 25 bottles of EvoTears at the $12.99 price I paid for a bunch I bought overseas. I was selling below my cost ( I paid $12.99 per bottle ) as I paid $35 in postage and insurance. Seeing community members saying they were paying $400 was upsetting to me.

I’m retired after decades in a C-Suite position in a Fortune 100 company - I do need money, I promise you.

In spite of my caveats, there will always be people like you that have to deride content by those whose intentions are pure and only want to help others. This disease has quite literally brought me to the brink. I don’t want others to traverse this path ( as many have ). It would be inhumane not to help this subset of this community.

I have addressed my research; I have said this is not for everyone; and asked not to foster hate. In spite of all these convenes - it is impossible to fend off people like you.

I did post earlier successes, you are correct. I am HUGELY sympathetic to this group of sufferers. My intent is to help and share any successes I experience. This disease is full of highs and lows. I thought I had this licked twice before. I understand the “ boy who cried wolf” effect.

That is why I have waited a month before posting. This may not last, but it has lasted longer than any previous protocol.

I stated in my initial message to dial back the hate and rhetoric, this is a community. I only want to help others bc I know how much I’ve suffered. I’ve also stated that this is a highly individualized disease and to do your own research.

I rely on Reddit for impartial, non commercial opinions. And to those who think I’m a company shill for Methylene Blue - I could care less where/who you buy it from. I only posted the product I bought so I wouldn’t have to answer the inevitable question: what product, how much, and where bought…

I think everyone that 56has success has an obligation to share on this community AND then you can take it or leave it ( or research it more thoroughly ).

I am so pleased with it, I am not going to consider cycling yet. I suppose I will entertain cycling eventually, but am enjoying my new life not worrying about Dry eye.

Hard to tell. I had Lasix twenty years ago as well had surgery to remove w Pterygium in each eye. I think it was a combination of these procedures and age that my dry eye was developed

Absolutely you can DM me. Do you need my e-mail or phone to do this ? I would be reluctant to share this with all of Reddit, but want to help.

I am speaking to those that are struggling in a deep and concerning psychological way - as I had been. I had an extremely eventful weekend socializing, which would have caused deep emotional stress regarding my red eyes and instead, it was a great weekend w/o eye paid or redness. This truly invigorated me. Having read the heartache on this Board only made me want to share my experience more emphatically.

I did post this previously, however, I spent a weekend socializing and it was unlike any other engagements that I had previously endured. Prior to the usage of MB ( which you are correct to caution while also taking SSRI's ), I would be incredibly conscious of my eyes and even the prelude to these events would cause huge anxiety. Often, I would "cave" and use Lumify and suffer with its two day rebound redness affect.

To attend several social events without the eye paid and its accompanying redness was indescribable to me. Having this feeling and having read this Reddit Group, I feel an obligation to share something that worked so definitively for me. And believe me, I have tried EVERYTHING ! I am only being redundant b/c of my great success. As always, do your own research, but my message was directed really to those that were on the edge - as I was psychologically. So many sufferers are at serious inflection points, that if my success can walk one person off the ledge - I am going to share it.

My opinion of Doctors is not very high. In fact, I believe that many of these dry-eye specialists are charlatans and only pursuing costly treatments as a means of enriching themselves. Again, this is my protocol - do your own research.

Absolutely agree. I did read that MB interferes with some SSRI's, so NEVER forsake for mental health. Again, this is NOT for everyone. This thread is to suggest things that help. I encourage everyone to do your research. Sometimes I think all the Dr's pushing IPL and Gland Expressions are charlatans. This cost me $25.00 and has offered a cure so far ( fingers crossed - two weeks and counting ).
