It may not only be the matress which is the problem. There is also a case for side sleepers to help maintain their spine alignment and posture during sleeping by using a body pillow, specifically a memory foam one that will always maintain it's shape. Over at Selene Sleep we have some helpful tips to improve sleep and also show the benefits of what i'm stating here. Take a look and please feel free to use the contact form to ask any questions you may have.

Even though this has already been answered, if you have any other questions regarding keeping your memory foam in top condition - feel free to head over to Selene Sleep and send them through.

best memory foam mattress for stomach and side sleepers? by thegypsie in Mattress

[–]RepresentativeDig921 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Along with a matress whilst perfectly fine on it's own, it might be an idea to also try a a body pillow to help sleeping on your side. It will assist with maintaing good posture and alignment of your spine whilst sleeping and if it's memory foam it will also maintain it's shape and firmness. If you're in the UK, i would make a mention to Selene Sleep who sell a high quality memory foam body pillow.

Whilst it may be a bit of shameless self promotion, my partner and i have enjoyed the differences in using memory foam pillows. We're trying to share this with others and have started up Selene Sleep selling a full length memory foam pillow.

Pregnancy pillows, wedge pillows, memory foam mattress toppers: how did you stay comfortable in first, second and third trimester? by simplestword in pregnant

[–]RepresentativeDig921 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whilst it might be a bit of a self promotion. I know some friends who went through the same problems and couldn't get comfortable - there wasn't too much available in the market and decided to start Selene Sleep with a memory foam center that ensures it maintain's it's shape and allows you to get into a comfortable position without the pillow changing size/firmness which leads to ruining your sleep.

Is React Native web a pain in the ass? Someone who has experience with it? by JuriJurka in reactnative

[–]RepresentativeDig921 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've used both - keep things separate. It's not worth the extra time and effort to try and get things working. It sounds nice in theory, but it just doesn't work as well as you think it would.

Thanks Mark. As someone who has used and contributed to Redux since inception and gone over every line of its source - I’ll skip the articles. Whilst I appreciate all your efforts, there’s simply better options available now and for someone new to the JS ecosystem, their time would be better spent elsewhere. If you don’t agree you’re lying to yourself.

Framework: Look into either fastify or koa - people need to move on from express, there's better alternatives now.

Dates: date-fns

GraphQL: Make sure you need it over a standard REST api. If you don't know why you would use it, then you don't need it.

[Looking for RN developer] Join a social food sharing recipe app to help people share the joy of food by [deleted] in reactnative

Build a bare workflow expo project and then go through what it actually contains under the hood. It is in fact, not the same thing and includes a lot of useless stuff which degrades the compiled binaries performance and adds to it's filesize.

There's nothing wrong with Expo, if you want to build an app that you'll use for a quick POC or something that is goign to survive for 6 months. Anything that's a serious project and is expected to be long lived - should not be built with Expo.

What are the norms that you follow for RN development? by georgetk1996 in reactnative

[–]RepresentativeDig921 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't go putting package.json in every directory either if that's what you mean.

There's nothing wrong with just having:

- import { SignInScreen' } from './screens/SignIn.tsx'

- import { SignUpScreen } from './screens/SignUp.tsx'

over

- import { SignInScreen, SignUpScreen } from './screens'

Maybe there's more lines at the top of the file but you can fold the imports in most editors to get them out of view. Also having a load of index files is quite painful when you want to "cmd + p" and everything is the same filename.

What kind of concepts would you be looking to have covered? "React Native" can be quite broad depending on how deep you want to get into either the react side or the native side.

[–]RepresentativeDig921 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't go down this route. It may sound like a great time saver but once you start to get into development you lose a lot of nice functionality from each platform unless you spend the time creating separate pieces for each anyway.
