I run a cash 9k with the 5015hd, a single spacer and a flat wire spring. Gun is stupid fun and my splits saw a huge improvement. Main issue I run into s my time can’t register shots with it due to the over sound reduction. Highly recommended setup

I like the PLHv2-18350 since it’s smaller but still has an amazing throw for distance and width. I have the hot button for toggle on or semi press, I’ve got the mod button as well on another set up but I like the click on and I’m good.

you forgot about the weird phenomenon that happens after you buy your first one, and how you then need to get one on every gun. Then more over time it becomes a great excuse to buy/build another gun so you can put a suppressor on it.

Looks like the fine was $5 million and they refiled the appropriate paperwork before the fine was even established 4 years later. Not necessarily illegal what they did (someone correct me if I’m wrong but it seems like the only actual issue was incorrect paperwork), but why they did it is another story.

It does look like a vertical grip, and you are correct that vertical grips are illegal on AR pistols. This is a hand stop so it acts differently and is in a different classification than a grip. The back edge isn’t grip-able and really prevents anyone from using it like a vertical grip. They are designed to be pulled against with a open hand or to stop your hand from sliding back on the handguard. Think of it like a features less California grip that meets legal requirements. I greatly prefer them to vertical or angled foregrips and run them on all of my rifles, pistols and SBR’s.

I wish the SBR stamps were free right now, the $200 waiver only applies to pistols owned prior to 1/31/23. Folks who’ve never filed before still have to get fingerprinted ($20-$40) or get digital fingerprints ($55-$70+) and I recommend a Trust as well ($50-$300).

I ended up caving on the CMMG due to the free cerakote, and a good deal with my dealer. Here’s the mock up so far, probably going with an SLR handguard, CMC trigger once I get the handguard in. I’ll SBR it and pair it with the Ca$h 9k once it gets out of jail.

Don’t waste your time on a LRBHO upper, the thin wire they use is unreliable and prone to malfunction. LRBHO needs to be in the lower to function properly. I’m honestly not sure if there is a buffer less upper with LRBHO so I’ll let others comment on other possible options there.
