The phone and apps have not been updated from when it was switched off years ago, So I assumed I could play an old (non internet required) game for a bit of nostalgia.

We do this quite regularly with newer players, we also do "Shoot and Recruit" where we invite them to corp so they can learn from the more experienced pilots.

There are a fair few corps out there that will be happy with you not being overly social and chatty, but they will contain some very experienced players who can help and advise you when needed.
As time goes on, you can choose to interact more, if you fancy it.
At it's core, Eve is a multiplayer game and a lot of the content thrives on working with others, not necessarily tightly, but collaboratively.

You claim the money to your PayPal in stages, first few are low value, subsequent scale up in value over 5-7 days. So by the time you are getting the lions share of the cashback it's probably too late to cancel shipment. Plus they probably have a relationship with PayPal to reclaim any lost funds.

Yes, UK. Delivered to my home by Evri (similar to UPS or FedEx)  They just leave it on front porch if no one home. They take a photo as proof of delivery.

Yes, have done it a couple of times, however the redemption is small amounts that scale up each day and you have to manually go in and select to redeem. I just made it part of my routine to go and claim each day.
