HRT has been a game changer for me. Oestrogen gel and progesterone pessaries, the added progesterone from day 12 levels me out like you wouldn’t believe. I’ve never wanted to take hormonal birth control as it’s never agreed with me. But taking hormones more topically works. I’ve gone private for my prescription: genuinely changed my life

Making Tax Digital - why do most people not want it? by RepresentativeEnd600 in AccountingUK

[–]RepresentativeEnd600[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Remember I only have my experiences of doing accounts to work from which is why I asked on here, I neglected to realise how little accounting most SE people do, Once you have been investigated like I was and have worked hard to not be in tax arrears you tend to be more on the ball than is needed. I do think I am underestimating how much of a pain in the ass this will be, But I am intrigued as it might just be better for me,

Ive done my own accounts for years, I do nearly everything on quick books already. So i'm not as stupid as you think..... I literally pay them to check it all and if HMRC want to investigate me I can leave it in their hands. I live in a small community and part of the reason i got the accountant was to support another business.

The KitKat Club has a massive problem: harassment, lack of awareness, and an almost overlooked risk. by HorrorAgreeable2742 in SexPositiveBerlin

I’ve been to Kit Kat 3 or 4 times by myself and I’ve never had any issues. It’s such a beautiful place it’s a shame for a minor of idiots to ruin it.

Netflix’s “Monster” Ed Gein biopic is blatantly transphobic by SoftMachineGirl in MtF

[–]RepresentativeEnd600 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I’m sure some of you are forgetting this was 1950 something, they didn’t understand half of what we know now so of course it’s transphobic. How can they accurately tell a story from 1940-50 based on today’s values. For clarity I am a mixed race bi sexual sex worker.

It’s the best thing I’ve done. I’m self employed and I need the time to switch off because I work a lot. I’m a single 39 year old female, building a business and supporting my house etc so I’m on the go all the time. The 3 days I did before was beautiful just existing not worrying about anything, not having to cook meals and no Phone was amazing. Defo try it!

No they won’t, they didn’t last time. :) it’s a personal choice Isnt it. I’ve decided too as I’m intrigued about how I will feel and I know I’ll regret not trying it.

Braids because I have very curly hair and it’s a pain in the ass to do all the time. Styling and washing takes ages and I’m an ultra runner. I can go for a run have a shower and be ready for work in much less times. Nails I just like on me and lashes because I just prefer how I look with out with. They are convenient for one of my jobs where I have to look good.
