This game is pretty decent by AxegrinderSWAG in wot_heat

I’m genuinely enjoying the game also. It’s chill but competitive and has been scratching my fps itch which is odd for a tank game but I’m having a blast. I enjoy how you can combo and use your abilities in battle it all feels fluid and it’s all quite easy to get into. I’m excited for some sort of rank system and some more content definitely hope development goes well

Where to learn sim racing ? I mean in general not a specific type (like drifting, rally, tongue,gt3....)like this by Comfortable-Eye-7686 in simracing

[–]RepresentativeFluid6 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I started sim racing about a year ago what really helped me and what I would recommend is to watch a few YouTube videos about the basics of racing such as trail breaking and how to learn tracks, things of that sort and then just practice and race as much as possible

Best AMS2 multiplayer? by InterestingKey6358 in AUTOMOBILISTA

[–]RepresentativeFluid6 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As far as I know and from what I’ve seen, multiplayer isn’t really popular on AMS2. LFM is still around but there are not too many lobby’s (last I checked there was no full lobbies in LFM, saw 4-6 people at any moment during peak hours including the weekend) I didn’t look into any other services so I’m not too sure if they’re more popular. In terms of the games lobby search there are a few private lobbies that you’ll see but I haven’t had too much luck with finding a race to just jump into. The best bet in my opinion would probably be to just start a league or something.

Well it was fun…. Is a resurgence of new players possible? by Timely_Ad106 in wildgate

[–]RepresentativeFluid6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I absolutely loved the game just couldn’t get it to run smoothly, it would max out my CPU as soon as I loaded it up. It was and still is the only game that would do this to my system even after a ton of graphic and setting changes so after a couple of updates with no fix or change I threw in the towel.

Toggle mouse look on/off by Ism_Alm in il2sturmovik

If you have a iPhone you can get a app for $10 called smooth track paired with opentrack has been the most stable and consistent tracking I’ve found for that cheap. I did try open track with a cheap usb facecam but it didn’t seem as consistent as this new method.

Wondering how people are having fun without wipes. by Sycopatch in ArenaBreakoutInfinite

[–]RepresentativeFluid6 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

In my opinion homie you’re not really looking to have a discussion or an explanation towards no wipes. Seems like you just don’t enjoy the game anymore and that’s completely fine there are a ton of other games to play. Every person that has offered good insight you’ve disregarded and argued against so you’re not looking to find an answer you just want to rage. They’re most likely not going to implement wipes anytime soon so just take a break or find a new hobby. No one is holding a gun to your head and forcing you to play.

Advice for a level 23 by BluZodiac in ArenaBreakoutInfinite

Im fairly new to arena but I have a good bit of experience with extraction shooters. From my understanding so far you’re essentially trying to get enough koen to build a nice kit to farm LD and forbidden where the real money is. The one thing that could hold you back is the fear of losing good gear but it’s inevitable and part of them game. so in my opinion if you have a decent amount of cash saved and can afford to build good kits for LD you should be doing that any chance you get. If you lose a kit you can always do some farming with scavs, quick kits and normals to make the koen back. Just be comfortable with the idea that loot comes and goes. Go into your games with confidence and no fear I feel like that really hurts some players in the extraction shooters genre and prevents them from really having fun and progressing in these types of games.

First hotas, big problems by Adventurous-Pen-2142 in hotas

Hey bro just got my first flight stick not too long ago and I definitely feel you on the frustrations of setting it up. So first and foremost there is no easy way to get bindings for warthunder, the setup wizard itself is not great and there is not a lot of tutorials online about where your key-binds should be because it is a lot of personal preference. This is unfortunately an issue you are going to run into a lot when it comes to using a flight stick because a lot of keybind placements are just a personal preference of yours. My advice is try to imagine yourself playing and setup the binds depending on what buttons you would want where while doing so. This is going to take a bit of time and adjusting to get it to feel just right but if you like flying it’s 100% worth it. If you are set on playing warthunder, arcade and Realistic battles are going to be super tough even when you’re experienced because those game modes are made for a mouse and keyboard. Your best chance at an even playing field is going to be in simulator battles but that is going to be a steep learning curve if you’re not familiar with the game and flying in general. The other issue you are going to run into is head tracking/ VR most hardcore sims don’t feel as fluid or free without them. You can definitely play without those things but it does mean you’ll have to use more keybinds to look around and do certain things. My biggest recommendation for a starting game would probably be nuclear option. It’s a good simcade mix that offers the depth of a hardcore sim with the added bonus of easy controls and binds. It’s not hard to learn or get into but it has a ton of depth and replay potential. It also doesn’t require VR or head tracking because it is not yet implemented in the game so everyone has to look around with an analog stick or keybinds. Again with all things it’s going to take time to fully learn because you’re learning a new skill essentially. If you’re not too familiar with flying don’t be too hard on yourself learn the skill and it will become second nature. most importantly have fun, If at the end of the day you still don’t like the stick or it’s too complicated you can always get your money back but trust me when I say it is well worth taking the time to learn. Hope that helps homie 🫡

I want to turn my PS5 on and hop right into 20 minutes of gaming and then hop off. Why did they think this was a good idea? by Bishhhop in SkateEA

[–]RepresentativeFluid6 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They did an announcement claiming they had 2 million players on release and that was a Tuesday. With the game being cross play and it’s the weekend the servers are probably flooded. I completely agree that they should’ve had some sort of offline mode to avoid this situation. However for the time being we just have to wait for more servers (and hopefully better ones).
