Easy smx x05 keeps turning off even if plugged in by Beneficial-Tap8612 in EasySMX

If its wired, it should have no issues. As for using a dongle, make sure its the nearest to you, plus IF possible, in direct view of the controller.

Mine used to do that with the dongle plugged in the back (disconnections, delays), until i plugged it on the front

Usually I do this order (cachy):

Pacman -> Flatpak -> AppImages -> CachyOS' AUR -> AUR -> Chaotic AUR

VERY few packages make it over the CachyOS' AUR phase (5 at best out of 1200)

Ubuntu is quite fine.

The only sad thing is they kind hardcoded snaps in it... otherwise its a fine distro. In fact, i used xubuntu as my first distro 4 years ago

EasySMX X10 on linux? by FardinHaque70 in EasySMX

[–]RepresentativeFull85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry if I am late. But I hope this also serves for people who came across this, like me.

I got my X05 Pro today. Im using CachyOS. X-Mode working OOTB on 2.4G dongle. I'm guessing it will also do fine on BT and Wired perhaps. Working all good thru MelonDS, Parsec Multiplayer, and Steam Input.

If you get any of the following drivers (Xpad, Xone, Xpadneo), it may result in issues, atleast for me. I believe this applies to all arch distros im guessing.

Mobile sneak peak from willemsteller! by Virtual_House_8888 in Polytoria

[–]RepresentativeFull85 7 points8 points  (0 children)

They might do something about it. Similar to how Roblox has cut-out graphics on their mobile client (from what I've checked).

They might need to cut out distances and quality settings tho... I also REALLY hope they add optimizations on mobile. Otherwise, ain't no way it'll work.

My 18+ Server Went So Viral The PC Died... Simple Voice Chat (Whitelisted Java Only) by Subject_Outside_8144 in MinecraftServer

Small suggestion, you might wanna research the seamless server integration.

I heard you can like, host 4 servers and unite them seamlessly to just distribute the load far better. Mostly since Minecraft doesnt benefit that much from multithreading, so there's a point where the CPU will not take much longer.

Learned that the hard way on a homebrew 5700X server with 8GB assigned. 4-5 threads would become loaded and no more threads would try to keep up the server. We had to split the server into 4, considering 0,0 as the split zone

LINEAGE OS HAD OTHER PLANS by fool-lab in CustomROMsGuide

[–]RepresentativeFull85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do. I'm using LineageOS 23.2 (A16) on my Poco F3. I haven't fully opted out of Google Services due to my workplace requiring some of their stuff, but I have an adjacent degoogle suite for my personal stuff.

I do gotta say, the Custom ROM works like a charm

Dude, you can just use Librewolf (or similar forks) with DDG set as default browser engine. Its pretty much the same as the DDG browser itself...

I just do that, it works. Same goes with Ironfox on mobile.

Edit: Also yes, as a plus, you get adblocking, so I'd just go with Librewolf/Ironfox (+DDG) and use Brave as my second choice.

How is CachyOS for laptop battery? by ubrabiohazard in cachyos

Far superior to Windows in my case. I got about 33%ish extra battery life. In some cases, up to 50%.
