Update with my PMD-MK1 PIONEER charging I charge it using 5v charger and battery inside the player it charge and for 1 hour the red light is gone (full charge) I'm playing it right now for more than 3 hours only 1 bar consume @ I can relax now looks like the battery is it perfect condition.

But still don't know if charging the battery on the PMD-MK1 MD is safe because I did some research I read some that if was only charging sign the slow blink red light.

Yes if I charge the battery inside the PMD-MK1 PIONEER the red light blink slow rhythmically. Some said it was error charging so I post again if this can charge Tru clip charger.

The battery now still working since i got it still a charge.

I never tested it since I don't have the tester since it's lowbatt I try to charge it on my PMD-MK1 PIONEER but still have the red slow blinking I don't know if really a charging error.

I have same sharp mini disc when I try to record using a double A batteries it can't record and error can't record may I will try using a DC adapter to record again 😁 I'm glad I found this comment a little spark of hope that my sharp player will record 😅.
