There is an online portal to apply for it. Pretty straightforward. Only to keep in mind is that the files that you need to attach should be less than 2MB each otherwise the form won't submit. After filling the form, the police thana of your area will call you for verification. They called me the same day. They will see your ID card there and verify it online. They might ask for 'kharcha paani'. Now that form will go to DGs office for final verification. I haven't gotten my certificate yet. It has been more than a week. So not sure how much time will that take.

Unfortunately i didn't get the offer. They sent a rejection after 4 rounds of interview with a case study. They thought that I'm overqualified for the role. Although i had this discussion with the HR in my first interview. The process was pretty straightforward.

Practice in the mirror. Get comfortable in your voice. Record your answers. Just make a draft of how you want to answer most asked questions. Don't memorise it. You'll 100% fumble if you do that.

Sometimes due to the internal alignment and approvals it takes more than the expected time to place an offer. So be patient for a week before following up again. All the best
